With Santa saved, we head back to the desert and go to the Fire Palace.
Kakkara
Now that you've saved Santa, you can take the Cannon Travel back to Kakkara and head to the Fire Palace.
From the village, go south. From here, go west, then north. You'll be at the Fire Palace. The Mad Mallards will shoot egg grenades at you.
Fire Palace
On the way to the palace entrance, watch out for Spider Legs. The Sand Stingers can cast Defender on themselves as well as Poison you.
The Robin Foot is a palette swap of the Chobin Hood, and they can also cast Flame Saber on themselves.
By going left after entering, you'll enter a cave that is very bright red. Cast Exploder on the orb to get rid of the red glow and get the lava out of the way.
The Red Drops multiply like the Blue and Green Drops, but they can also Engulf you.
There are two chests out in the open here, and if you open them, they will both contain 1000 GP each.
Cast Fireball on the brown orb to make a bridge to travel further into the palace.
Dark Funk is exactly like L.A. Funk, but they are fire-based and can cast Blaze Wall.
The path of narrow corridors with flames that get in the way lead to the Axe's Orb. The Battle Axe is effective against plants and fish.
In the room full of torches, step on the switch, then hit the orb that materializes with Freeze. Stand between the two torches that are still lit to create a staircase, then go up to face the Minotaur. Hope you have Level 3 Sylphid magic, as Thunderbolt will tear him apart. The minotaur will hit you Level 7 Earth Slide as well as hit you with his horns. He can also turn red and charge at you. He is also hard to hit with physical attacks unless you charge them up, so stick to Thunderbolt. Beat the Minotaur to get the Javelin's Orb. The Lode Javelin has a chance of inflicting Balloon on enemies when it hits.
