PrinceWatercress plays Klonoa 2: Dream Champ Tournament - Part 9 of 20

In this entry, we face our next competitor, then we find out where those "hints" Chipple got came from.

Vision 3-7

Go right, grab the Flying Moo, double jump right, grab another Flying Moo, double jump at the start of the disappearing blue platforms for two Dream Stones as you go right, then drop down on the second blue platform to take the lower road and get more Dream Stones. Jump right, grab the Goomi, jump right, grab the Teton and ride it up. Head right, then grab the Erbil and rocket up into the two chest and grab the Flying Moo. Go right and break the chest blow with a double jump for a blue Dream Stone, then grab the Erbil again and rocket up and to the right. Stand on the blue platform and make it disappear, Glitz, then watch out for the Glitz' projectiles, grab the Glitz and double jump for two Dream Stones before dropping down. Grab another Glitz, take the disappearing blue platforms to the right, double jump and hover to get the three Dream Stones, then grab the Jumping Moo and double jump right to the next section. You should have fifteen Dream Stones at this point.

Go right, grab the Flying Moo, double jump right, head right without getting hit by the Glitz' projectiles, grab the Glitz and double jump for two Dream Stones, then head right over the disappearing blue platforms, grab two more Dream Stones and get the key. From here, get two more Dream Stones, then make your way to a more solid platform. Be sure to hover when you get the four aforementioned Dream Stones and the key, otherwise you'll be losing lives. Jump right, grab the Goomi, jump right and grab the Teton and take the Teton up and right. Throw the Teton when Klonoa is right next to the chest so you can land where the chest was and get a blue Dream Stone at the same time. Go right, grab the Flying Moo, double jump right, grab another Flying Moo, double jump to the right above the red arrow panel, re-grab the Flying Moo, get the two Dream Stones and double jump into the door to get the Sun Stone. Stand on the disappearing blue platform to drop down, then grab the Erbil and go straight up through the three blue chests before landing on a disappearing blue platform. Get the last two Dream Stones before you jump and hover to the right to enter the cannon and finish this vision.

Vision 3-8

Go right, hover to the chain, climb up the chain, go right, grab the Flying Moo, throw it at the red arrow panel that is pointing up, then re-grab the Flying Moo, double jump above the red arrow panel to the left, grab the Flying Moo again, and double jump over the red arrow panel so you can get the two Dream Stones to the right and the blue Dream Stone to the left. You can also hover to the right from the blue Dream Stone to get the two green ones, if you wish. Do the stuff with the Flying Moo and the red arrow panels again to get out of this area. From here, drop down to the blue arrow panel and hit the blue arrow panel so it faces left, then go left, grab the Likuri, throw the Likuri to the right towards the blue arrow panel and follow the Likuri as you do, so you can grab it on the other side of the narrow corridor you'll be passing through. Throw the Likuri at the red arrow panel to the right that is pointing down when the Flying Moo is below it, then quickly go up the chain and to the red arrow panels before the Likuri returns to you. Double jump above the red arrow panel, then go right and throw the Flying Moo at the red arrow panel so it hits the Likuri and turns the Likuri blue. From here, do the double jump and re-grab again, then go all the way down and to the right. Throw the blue Likuri at the blue crystal, then grab the nearby Flying Moo and double jump to the two Dream Stones here before going down the ladder to the next section.

Go down the ladder and hit the blue arrow panel to the left so it points up. The Nagapoko has a message from Popka, if you want to read it. Go right, hit the blue arrow panel so it points up, then grab the down arrow block and throw it at the blue arrow panel with a double jump. You'll be able to ride the arrow block to two Dream Stones, but you'll also get carried up by the air current you just uncovered. If that happens, just go left. Grab the down arrow block as it flies back and forth and take it to the blue arrow panel near the ladder at the beginning of the room. Throw the down arrow block at the blue arrow panel so it will land on the floor switch above, opening a door. Go through where the door was, grab the Boomie, throw it right, grab it on the other side, then throw it into the blue arrow panel. This will hit the purple switch in the wall, allowing you to change the size of all the purple blocks in the room. You can now immediately go down and get the first Moon Stone, then make your way to the right, go up the air current, then go right to the next section.

Go to the right and get the left arrow block at the bottom of the "stairs." Take it to the right and place it above the chain, then go back and take the down arrow block. Place the down arrow block above the blue switch that is stuck in the floor. Don't forget to double jump for the two nearby Dream Stones while you're doing this. Take the up arrow block and throw it to the right so it is below the "column" next to the blue switch on the right most wall, then take the right arrow block and place it near the left side of the up arrow block, but also next to the only exposed blue switch. Climb up the chain, grab the Boomie, and place  it between the left and right arrow blocks so it lands on the ground. If you've got everything set up right, you'll set off a chain reaction of explosions that will hit all three blue switches at the same time. This one will probably take some trial and error to position everything perfectly and pull it off. From here, grab another Boomie and double jump to get the two nearby Dream Stones, then grab the chain and jump and hover to the right near the top to go right to the next section.

Go right and hit the blue arrow panel near the purple switch so that it points left. Go right to the air current, ride it up, then grab the Flying Moo and double jump above the blue arrow panel so it hits the purple switch. Go right and get the two Dream Stones near the exit to the next section, then use the Flying Moo to double jump to the two Dream Stones to the left of where you found said Flying Moo. Go back down, hit the blue arrow panel so it points up, then grab the Likuri all the way to the right and throw it at the blue arrow panel to absorb a Flying Moo. From here, head underneath the start of the room and throw the Likuri at the Flying Moo over there. Take the Likuri all the way to the right and double jump above the blue crystal to get the Sun Stone. From here, turn the blue arrow panel so it points up again. Grab the Likuri, then absorb the Flying Moo underneath the start of the room. When you throw the Likuri, head right, hit the purple switch with a Wind Bullet, then throw the Likuri at the blue arrow panel. Ride up the current. go left and throw the Likuri at the blue crystal so you can get the second Moon Stone. You can then turn the blue arrow panel so it faces left, ride the wind current up and double jump above the blue arrow panel with the nearby Flying Moo so you can make your way to the exit to the next section.

Grab the down arrow block and double jump upwards to get two Dream Stones, then put the down arrow block down. Jump to the chain, jump and hover to the right at the top of the chain, then grab the up arrow block that is on top of the exit door and double jump and hover to the left from the door to get some Dream Stones. (If the exit door is open, you won't be able to get these Dream Stones, so do it now!) The Nagapoko near the exit will tell you that you can use cannons to slow the next boss down. Take the up arrow block down to the bottom and double jump above the red arrow panel that is facing right. Go up the chain and grab the down arrow panel to the left, and take it through the red arrow panel like you did the up arrow block. From here, you can do the same with the left arrow block that is nearby. Once you stop hearing the sounds of blocks hitting walls, grab the Boomie and send it into the red arrow panel area. You'll be able to hit all three of the blue switches at the same time. You can now grab the third Moon Stone to the left of the Boomie, then climb all the way up the chain and go to the exit. You're done.

Vision 3-Boss

Gomeroth does not seem like a confident guy at first, but apparently is overeager to give it everything he's got, if the opening cutscene is any indication.

Go right, take the upper path, grab the Flying Moo, double jump to the right, double jump right over the disappearing blue platforms with another Flying Moo, then go right to get two Dream Stones. From here, you'll have to throw enemies into chests and cannons to slow down Gomeroth and also get all the Dream Stones in this first section, as the items in the chests are random. Thankfully, there are three sections with ten Dream Stones each, so it's very easy to keep track of whether or not you've found everything. Speaking of Dream Stones, the Goomi near the blue arrow panel near the end of the first section takes you to three Dream Stones that aren't randomly placed if you jump and hover to the right at the top of the Goomi's path. The ultimate thing to look for is the pink orb; once you grab it, you can get past the barricade blocking the entrance to the next section. You'll get the first Moon Stone along the way.

The second section is more of what the first did. You'll have to jump over the Spiker on the start while on the Goomi that is barely above it moves back and forth. To get the Sun Stone, you'll need to hit the blue arrow panel after the Boomie so that it points up, then throw a Boomie at it to clear the path to the Sun Stone. You'll find the three non-randomly placed Dream Stones on the way to the Sun Stone, too. The rest are in chests, as is the pink orb. You'll get the second Moon Stone when you get past the barricade.

In the third section, take all the paths at the beginning and open all the chests so you can get everything. Once again, there are three non-random green Dream Stones, and they are on the low road after the beginning that leads to the goal. There is one last chest on the way; if you don't have the pink orb yet, break it. Once you get through the last barricade, you'll have the last Moon Stone and an open exit. This may be the easiest boss race of the game, from what I can figure.

Afterwards, Lola and Popka advance, but Chipple admits that he did not make it and Klonoa gets wind of the fact that he was fed hints that he never gave to Chipple at all. Gantz is then seen hiding behind a pillar, which basically implies that this is all his doing in an attempt to drive a wedge between Chipple and Klonoa.
