PrinceWatercress plays Klonoa 2: Dream Champ Tournament - Part 15 of 20

The main game reaches its conclusion, but we still have the Five Ultimates. Also, apologizes for the unintentional commentary desync.

Vision 5-7

Go right, go up the chain, hover to the left to the next chain, hover left to the two Dream Stones and onto the next chain, go up the chain, go right, get the Flying Moo, double back to the left, double jump to the left to land above the last chain, continue left, grab the Flying Moo, double jump onto the chain above, grab the Glibz, go left, throw the Glibz at the crate, get back on the chain, collect the Dream Stones while avoiding the Spikers and continuing upwards, grab the Glibz to the right, double jump to get all four Dream Stones to the left, grab another Glibz, make your way up and to the right a bit, double jump left to get the blue Dream Stone, go right, grab the Goomi, jump right off the Goomi, land on the blue disappearing platform, grab the Flying Moo, double jump to the chain, and climb up to the second section. You should have fifteen Dream Stones at this point.

Jump right off the chain, head to the right, jump into the tornado, wait a bit, move to the left onto the blue disappearing platform, jump up for two more Dream Stones and then jump left into another tornado, wait a bit, jump left onto the blue disappearing platform, jump left and grab the Goomi, jump to both sides to get all the Dream Stones above the Goomi, jump left and grab the Goomi that is moving up and down, wait a bit for the Flying Moo to the left to show up, jump left off the Goomi, grab the Flying Moo and immediately double jump to the left, go all the way to the left, jump and hover to the right to reach the next platform, go right, grab the Glibz and throw it out of your way immediately, then continue right, grab the next Glibz you see, double jump to get a blue Dream Stone, grab the Glibz again and go left, double jump to the Teton, grab the Teton and fly into the Dream Stones, get above the platform right of the Dream Stones, throw the Teton to the right at floor level to break a crate, (you can also use a Flying Moo for this), grab the Flying Moo, go to the right to get the Sun Stone, double jump straight up, immediately grab the next Flying Moo on the way up and double jump tot he right, grab the Flying Moo to the immediate left, double jump left, grab the Flying Moo on the way there, double jump to the left, grab the Goomi, then grab and immediately double jump with the Flying Moos on the way to the right. You're done.

Vision 5-8

Go right and enter the next section.

Jump to the Nagapoko. The Nagapoko will tell you about Darissa, a robot in Garlen's Castle that you'll have to hit in the stomach with an object to defeat. Jump to the chain, climb to the top, then jump and hover to the right to get two Dream Stones. From here, you'll need to get back to the chain and head to the right without falling into spikes. Go right, hit the purple switch, then jump and hover left to return to the floor switch above the chain. Stand on the floor switch and wait for the Gear Moo to come your way, then head right and hit the purple switch so the Gear Moo can come all the way to where the Glibz is. Grab the Likuri, then throw it at the Glibz. From here, you'll want to double jump to the blue crystal above the Glibz while also throwing the Likuri at the Gear Moo. This will allow you to get to the blue crystal while also absorbing the Gear Moo. Throw the Likuri at the blue crystal, go right and get the key, then jump and hover to the left to get two Dream Stones. Head back to the starting section.

In the starting section, go down and to the left to another section.

The key door will be to your left; go through it. Go into the room, go all the way to the left to grab the Likuri, then go back to the right and wait for a box to fly your way. Jump onto the box, and throw the Likuri at enemies to absorb them (two Flying Moos and a Glibz) as you continue to ride the box. You'll be picking up four Dream Stones while riding the box (you may have to jump for the two on the right half of the room). In the upper-right is a blue crystal guarding a Moon Stone, slightly below that is a red crystal blocking your path to the Sun Stone. The hardest part of doing this is making sure the Likuri doesn't hit the ceiling spikes all the way up top so you don't have to start the enemy absorption over; the trick to this is to make the Flying Moo further to the left the second enemy you absorb when going for the Moon Stone. As for the red crystal, go for the Flying Moo in the box path first, then the other Flying Moo, then the Glibz (and hope the Glibz doesn't shoot the Likuri down); the Likuri will return as you approach the red crystal, so be ready to jump to the right when the time comes. There is also a key to collect in the upper-left corner of the room; you'll need to double jump with a Likuri with enemies absorbed to get it. Once you've collected four Dream Stones, a Moon Stone, a Sun Stone and a key, leave the room.

Back at the starting section, jump your way up and head to the section entrance up and to the left of the start.

Go through the key door, hit the purple switch, and grab the Likuri. Go up and left, then go to the right when you are able. Throw the Likuri at the Flying Moo with a double jump, drop down, hit the purple switch before the Likuri returns, jump up and throw the Likuri left above the purple switch, hit the purple switch after you hear the Likuri hit the Flying Moo in that direction before the Likuri returns, then jump your way to the left and throw the Likuri at the blue crystal to get the second Moon Stone. From here, grab a Flying Moo, head all the way back to the left, then double jump to get the key in this room. Head back to the Flying Moo, double jump and hover to the right and get two more Dream Stones. Head back to the starting section.

Jump all the way up the chains to the right for two more Dream Stones here. From here, there is a chain to the right of where you started; this leads to two more Dream Stones, an extra life and an entrance to another section.

Go right through the key door, then go right and grab the Likuri. Double jump to the left above the Glitz, grab the Flying Moo to the left and double jump to the left immediately to land near a blue crystal and a key, throw the Likuri at the Flying Moo when it returns, then throw the Likuri at the blue crystal to get the key. You'll have to do this again, but this time you'll be heading to the right and doing it for the last Moon Stone. Finally, you'll have to manuever the Likuri into all three enemies into this room to get rid of a red crystal and grab a blue Dream Stone; thankfully, you can just jump and hit the Likuri into the Flying Moos to absorb them. Be sure to look around the room so you have all the Dream Stones here.

On the way to the exit in the starting room, go back to the bottom and get the Likuri. You'll need to absorb two enemies on the way up so that the Likuri turns blue. Throw the blue Likuri at the blue crystal near the lower-left section entrance to get the last of the Dream Stones. From here, you'll have to absorb three enemies with the Likuri to turn it red. When you absorb the first two enemies, double jump above the Flying Moo above the chains leading to the exit, and jump and rope grab your way to the exit door before the Likuri returns, so you can throw the now-red Likuri at the red crystal blocking the exit. You're done!

Vision 5-Boss

This is a two-part boss battle. The first part is against Gantz and is the only part you have to worry about ranking up in. The second part is against Garlen himself, and in that part, you can get hit and lose lives as much as you need to without worrying about losing your S Rank. Thankfully, you can play either half of this vision individually, so you can focus on the S Rank on the Gantz race if you missed out on it.

The cutscene has Gantz ready to win the final race and take the prize money, even if he has to take it by force is Garlen reneges.

Go right, grab the Flying Moo and use it to break both chests at the beginning. This will reveal two red arrow panels that both point up. Throw one Flying Moo at both of them, then grab another Flying Moo and double jump to the chain above the arrow panel on the left. Jump and hover to the right at the top to grab another chain. There is a blue Dream Stone between the two chains; you will have to jump and hover to the left to grab it, then quickly get back on the chains. From here, you'll have to continue jumping to the right. When you see the Flying Boomie, you'll have to jump right, grab the Flying Boomie, immediately double jump right, immediately grab the Flying Moo and then double jump to a blue Dream Stone. The Flying Boomie will go directly into a cannon if thrown at the right time, stunning Gantz for a brief while. Go back to the Flying Boomie, grab the Flying Boomie, drop straight down to where the cannon is, and throw it to the right so it hits a boulder you'll need to destroy. Throw another Flying Boomie at the cannon, then shoot a wind bullet at the portal where the Flying Boomie comes from, jump up and throw the Flying Boomie to the right so it hits another boulder. Once you blow up that boulder, throw another Flying Boomie into the cannon, then grab another Flying Boomie out of that portal and double jump at the floor switch to the right to open a door, get sent into a tornado that shoots you up and to the right and get the Sun Stone. Continue right, throw a Flying Moo at the cannon, then use the Flying Moo to destroy the two blue chests in the vicinity. This will reveal a blue Dream Stone you'll need to pick up as well as a red arrow panel pointing up. Throw a Flying Moo at the arrow panel pointing up to break a path leading to the exit, then throw another Flying Moo at the cannon, then double jump with a third Flying Moo to the right so you can head to the second section and grab the first Moon Stone in the process. You should have fifteen Dream Stones when you're done with this section.

Double jump to the right over the spikes with the Flying Moos, then get on the trampoline with another Flying Moo and hold A so you can get the high jump. Double jump straight up when you do the high jump off the trampoline so you can jump into a tornado that will send you up and to the right while also grabbing a blue Dream Stone in the process if you just hold Left on the Control Pad while you do this. If you get the Dream Stone, just hover to the right; you'll get back to where you need to be. Get on the chain, grab the Flying Boomie and double jump between the two boulders so you can get rid of them at the same time. This will reveal a floor switch. From here, double jump a second Flying Boomie into the cannon, then double jump a third Flying Boomie onto the floor switch you just uncovered. This opens a door; continue right. There will be five chests and a cannon on the way to the Flying Moo that is all the way to the right; break all these chests with Flying Moos to uncover a heart, a blue Dream Stone, a box and an arrow panel pointing up. Throw a Flying Moo at the red arrow panel you just uncovered to break another chest containing a blue Dream Stone - which is the last of the Dream Stones here - then throw a box at the one that was out in the open the entire time so you have a ride upwards. You'll have to get that last blue Dream Stone with a jump to the right off the box, but you can easily get back on the box. When the box goes all the way up, jump to the right for the second Dream Stone and the entrance to the third section. You should have all 30 Dream Stones at this point.

Here, you'll face Darissa. You'll have to not only throw Flying Moos at the red arrow panels to hit the weak spot at the bottom, but you'll also have to throw Flying Moos at the cannons to slow down Gantz as much as you can. Darissa will sometimes create webs that will block your Flying Moo shots; you'll need to have as few of these on-screen as possible. Darissa can not only dive straight down and hit the floor in an attempt to hit you, but Darissa can also stay there for a while after the red arrow panels disappear. When the red arrow panels disappear, you'll have to throw a Flying Moo at Darissa's head so that the weak spot will be on the top; you'll have to hit the weak spot with a double jump from there. Near the end of the battle, the red arrow panels will return, but Darissa will destroy them with the webs! You'll have to be both fast and crafty to hit the weak spot - which will be back at the bottom of Darissa's body here - to get those last hits in! If the red arrow panels get destroyed before that happens, you'll have to avoid Darissa as it moves across the floor and throw Flying Moos at the cannon before you can strike Darissa again. If you can get that last hit in, however, you can get a trampoline to show up. Make that high jump to get the last Moon Stone, then make your way to the exit. You're done with the first part and you'll (hopefully) have your S Rank.

After the race, Gantz is grabbed in preparation to be turned into a gear...and so is Klonoa! Garlen wants Klonoa to be turned into the electronic brain for his empire, Gantz shoots down the robots holding down Klonoa, then tells Klonoa to take down Gantz.

At the start of the battle with Garlen, jump over the missiles. They will turn into Gear Moos when they hit the wall. Grab a Gear Moo and throw it at the head. Avoid the big bronze gear as it comes forward, makes a U-Turn and then comes back to Garlen, and when Garlen goes into the air, stay away from below the yellow caution sign so you don't get crushed. If you need health, grab a Gear Moo and run it into a missile by any means; the missile may turn into a heart.

After enough hits, Garlen's robot destroys the floor. Jump over the bronze gear, then land on the ground below. Avoid the missiles as they go for the floor and turn into Gear Moos on contact, a then watch out for Garlen when he moves downwards. The weak spot is still the head. When the bronze gear is fired off again, you'll have to avoid two gears that move in towards you instead of just one; thankfully, you can stay on the move - or keep really good distance - to avoid both. If you can't throw a Gear Moo at the head of Garlen's robot, you can always jump and run the Gear Moo directly into it to do the job. Also, Garlen will try to shake the ground, causing Moos in spike wheels to drop down; watch out for those things.

After you deal enough damage to the head, jump over the bronze gear as it destroys the floor again. When you see a Goomi, hover towards one and grab it immediately. From here, you'll need to grab the Erbils and use them to rocket straight into the flying dragon head that remains of Garlen's robot while also staying on the Goomis. If the mouth opens, you'll need to get behind Garlen to move out of the way of the purple laser that fires out of it. After three hits from rocketing into Garlen with the Erbils, you've beaten Garlen and you've beaten the normal game content of Klonoa 2: Dream Champ Tournament. Everyone is back to normal, Suiryu reveals that he is a cop and arrests Garlen for everything that he has done, Gantz takes the prize money and gives the trophy to Klonoa, then the credits roll.

However, you still have the Five Ultimates...
