In this entry, we do what we set out to do in the Cave of Deist, but now we have an even greater problem.

The Ogre Chieftan (OgrChief) is Rank 4 and is just tougher than an Ogre. Nothing special, really.

The AcidPhial casts Level 16 Poison Cloud on all enemies.

When you reach the four doors, take the third one. You'll then find a monster guarding the Spring of Life. Talk to it to start the battle against the Chimera.

To beat the Chimera (or Chimeras, as you might get more than one), Curse it first, then wail on it. If you're fighting multiple Chimeras, Curse them all individually before you do anything, and keep your party's HP high. They are Rank 5 Magic Beasts and have 750 HP, so taking one down is possible in a few turns, especially with the Wing Sword and the Demon Spear.

The Chimeras can cast Blaze 7, which can be pretty powerful and hellaciously life-ending if you haven't Cursed them prior.

When you beat the Chimera(s), go up to the Spring of Life and use the Egg.
