PrinceWatercress plays Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves - Part 17 of 42

In this entry, we get the last parts of Day Two done so we can start the final part of Episode 3.

The Fists of Flame for Murray work the same as they did in the second game: press the assigned button, Murray's fists will catch on fire, and the next enemy that he punches, flashlight guard or not, gets destroyed in one hit.

Sly, on the other hand, has three moves for this day. Silent Obliteration replaces the default behind-the-enemy elimination move that Sly has, forcing you to press Square after knocking an enemy into the air to more stealthily destroy an enemy. Shadow Power now comes in multiple levels, and Level 1 gives you the ability to move around undetected just like in the second game. While this comes at the cost of your special weapons energy slowly depleting, you'll only be able to move, as Level 1 does not allow you to attack or jump. The Spin Attack level three adds a third level of charge to the Triangle button for Sly. Press Triangle three times for the maximum charge, and you'll soon get the most powerful spin attack with the most range and duration as soon as you press Square while the charge is still in effect.

Giant Wolf Massacre

You'll need to play as Bentley to start this job.

For this job, Bentley has altered his sleep darts to be able to drug a wolf, allowing The Guru to take control of it via mind control and destroy several guards and pilots. Unfortunately, to hit the wolf, he'll have to get behind it and shoot it from in close. You'll have to do this four times for the drug to have an effect on the wolf.

Whenever you get close to the wolf from behind, you'll see a crosshairs icon on the wolf icon in the lower-right corner. This is your cue to get on the Binocucom, aim and shoot the wolf, then run away when the dart connects. Sly will tell you if you've got the right distance as well as whether or not the wolf has caught wind of your scent.

Once you land the four darts on the wolf, you'll take control of The Guru. Take control of the wolf with mind control, then run across the level and destroy any guards you see with the Square button. If you run into walls, you will take damage. If you need health, go to the hangar area and destroy stuff to get some health.

Once you take out fifteen guards, this job is done.

Windmill Firewall

You'll need to play as Bentley to start this job as well.

All the power in the town come from the local windmills, and we'll have to jump to the top of all three windmills to reach the computer consoles, hack into all three of them, then get to the console at the master control tower and hack the computer there. You will need the ability to triple jump with Bentley to get to the consoles; thankfully, we bought this ability earlier.

Just like in the second game, the left analog stick moves while the right analog stick fires in the direction you hold it. There are pieces of data in the form of balls that you will have to place in nodes in order to open up other enemies. Aside from red balls that act as barriers, there will be tanks that move towards you and shoot, but the red enemies here are easy for the most part. The orange tanks will take more damage, and the big red tank will take even more damage and even has destroyable enemies that act as cannons. The big red enemy will also show up with shields and will also show up in a pair that carry data balls in the final part of this. When you make it to the green opening at the end, you'll successfully hack into the console.

The green spiral is digital black hole, and if you get sucked into it, you will die and you will have to start the whole course over. These four hacking mini-games start out easy, but get harder as you go from one console to the next.

When you hack all four consoles, Bentley will find out that there is a bug in the code that allows the blades of the windmill to come apart and fly around, turning into a giant shuriken that destroys whatever it runs into, like the dam.

After this, it's time for Operation: Turbo Dominant Eagle. As Team Iceland and Team Belgium face each other in the "B Champs" round and provide perfect cover for the finishing touches of the plan, Sly will be using the paraglider to glide onto the tops of the gunships and planting some tracking devices on them before suiting up for the finals. Meanwhile, Murray will have to get back on the rowboat and pull down a giant windmill that serves as the aerial communications antenna, forcing the Black Baron to use an unscrambled frequency to call in the gunships for back-up only for the gunships to be destroyed by kamikaze windmill blades. From here, it's up to Sly to win in the finals.
