In this episode, Muggshot causes trouble at the Team Cooper hangar, and it's going to be a heck of an effort to get him and his men to back off.
This time around, Bentley has the Insanity Strike and not Sly. Much like in the second game, toggling the ability with the assigned shoulder button and striking an enemy with Square will turn them against other enemies. This ability requires special weapon energy to work.
Cooper Hangar Defense
You'll have to play as Murray to start this one.
When you enter the Team Cooper hangar, Bentley will tell you that he has been working on getting the hangar security online and operational. Unfortunately, Penelope has passed word that a rival air team is coming to do wrong at the hangar. Murray will have to cover for Bentley while he gets everything worked out.
No sooner does Bentley leave that Muggshot shows up, still sore from what happened in the first game, and sends his goons into the hangar. Since Muggshot is still made out of Teflon, you'll have to beat up the enemies that come out of the hangar and you'll have to use the machine in front of the door to smack Muggshot with an engine block.
Once you hit Muggshot enough times, it's not over. The security system will be finished, but you'll now have to use it to keep even more guys out. There are two screens you can switch between with Left and Right on the left analog stick or D-Pad, and the Square, Triangle, Circle, and X buttons can be used to trigger the clearly marked traps. You'll be able to test the controls out, then it's on to the real test.
I start out with the front most traps, then use the ones further back, as the traps take a few seconds to recharge and become useable again. You really don't want any enemies getting past all the traps, because if that happens, they will get to the plane and do a little damage to it, and if the plane's energy meter is completely drained, you'll have to start this part over.
After all the enemies are done, Bentley contacts Penelope, who sends her RC plane over to the hangar to take care of enemies from above. Press X to lower a cable on an enemy, and once you get a hold, go back and forth with the plane while tapping R1 to boost back and forth and do damage. Enemies will be taken out easily, but tanks will require more effort.
Pay attention to any triangles pointing in any direction. It will show where the nearest enemy is. Green triangles are normal enemies, but red enemies are tanks, which take a lot more abuse before going down. If you see the screen shake, enemies have made it to the hangar; get there and take care of any nearby enemies.
