KuuImpact plays The Twisted Tales of Spike McFang - Part 9 of 12

In this area, KuuImpact is levelled up again, and he goes into the ice fortress.

At this point, KuuImpact is now at Level 12. At this point, the Python Bunnies won't be the deep well of experience points that they once were.

The Apes will throw ice chunks at you and run around randomly, and they will turn red and charge at you if they see you. You can take them out easily with the Lightning Hat.

The platform with the switch on it is an elevator. Interact with the switch, and the platform will go down, allowing you to enter a cave.

The purple lampreys will stun you if they hit you, and they can also shock you with ball electric projectiles.

Inside the cave, you'll meet someone with pink hair wrapped up in a blue cloak. This person knows of your adventures and also about The Freezer, and mentions that The Freezer's weakness for chicken noodle soup. If you use this soup, The Freezer - who is a Level 11 fighter - will no longer be invincible. Thankfully, there are soup cards in the stores where you can buy random cards in every town where you can get this card, and you should have a bunch of them at this point. When you leave, the person will drop their cloak and reveal themselves to be Hydra, who wants The Freezer gone so she can get total control of Hydra. In the ultimate embarrassing anime moment, Spike comes back and asks for Hydra's name, to which Hyrda's head produces the classic anime sweat drop as she says it is not important.

You'll be able to save before entering the palace. The snowmen float around and show up in large groups of four or five, but the Lightning Hat can tear them apart.

You'll soon meet The Freezer. To beat him, stay on the move to avoid his icicle projectiles and homing lasers as you hit him with the Lightning Hat. You'll soon find out that nothing you do will hurt him, and The Freezer will tell you to meet him on the other side of the palace.

Continue to the west after the battle, as south leads to falling icicles and a dead end (watch for those shadows!). You'll be fighting more Snowmen as well as Time Bombs, which will explode and blow up if left around too long. The Ice Queens are similar to the Snowmen, although they do stay in place most of the time and throw ice projectiles at you. The Ice Queens give a lot of experience at this point in the game, so slaughter them with the spinning attack and the Lightning Hat. Some of them disappear and reappear, but they don't fight much differently from the ones that don't.
