In this episode, we head to the finals of the A.C.E.S. competition after putting the finishing touches on our plan, then face the Black Baron at his own game.
Operation: Turbo Dominant Eagle
You'll need to play as Sly to end this episode.
Once gain, you'll need to climb all the way to the top of the castle again. Once you reach the waypoint, you'll have to plant the trackers on the gunships at a high elevation. From here, you'll have to jump on the catapult, use the paraglider to glide through the air, get on the gunship that gets nearest to the castle, go up to the console and press Circle to plant the tracker. To get on the next gunship, you'll need to jump on the pressure vent in front of the aircraft. Pay attention to where the gunships are going so you can shorten the distance from one gunship to the next if you need to.
Once all four trackers are planted, you'll switch to Murray. Once again, you'll need to use the D-Pad (or left analog stick), Square and X to move the rowboat and pull down the support beams on the communications antenna. Watch the water for shadows so you don't get hit by falling planes, and watch for debris. Once you get underneath a bridge, you'll pull down a support beam.
After this, you'll be in the ACES Finals. The plane you're looking for is a black plane, and a bright light will be flashing on his plane to make it easier to tell him apart from everyone else. Line yourself up with the Black Baron and rip into him with as many machine gun bullets as you can. Once the Black Baron goes down, you'll have to fight him on the wing of his plane after his gunships get taken out.
Your main attack for this is not just your standard Square button attack that swings the cane back and forth, but also the push attack. When he rears back for an uppercut, move back, then strike when he punches. Be sure to keep a fair distance so he doesn't throw jabs at you or leap at you, either. Sometimes I swing the cane while moving past him; it doesn't hurt to do this, either.
Once you take off a third of the Black Baron's health off, he will start sending enemies out of the plane to attack you. Use the Level 3 Spin Attack to knock them off the wing and into the abyss. Some of them will leave health; be sure to take it.
On the second phase of the battle, when the Black Baron jumps into the air with his arms raised, double jump to avoid the stomp attack so you don't take damage, as it can hit from anywhere. When the Black Baron is down to a third of a full health bar, use the Spin Attack to take out the henchmen.
On the third phase, there will be one henchman on the wing at all times. Focus on the Black Baron, and deal with the henchman only when you have to. Interestingly, the henchman can inadvertently hit the Black Baron if he is in the way. Once you beat the Black Baron, his disguise will be gone and it turns out he was really...Penelope?
As it turns out, Penelope created the Black Baron persona to get past the competition's strict age requirements, but when she won as the Black Baron, he became a bit of a celebrity, and she had to keep the persona going. With the ACES competition won, Penelope is now on the team.

Circle: use to interact with sparkles, steal from enemies (from behind; with Sly), grab objects and stunned enemies (with Murray; press Circle afterwards to grab enemy out of air and press again to shake them, or press Square to throw them)

- charge up cane, knock enemies into the air (from behind; with Sly, use Square afterwards to slam enemy down/use Silent Obliteration)
- drop bombs (Bentley)
- uppercut (Murray; press Circle afterwards to grab enemy out of air and press again while holding enemy to shake them, or press Square afterwards to knock enemy out while in mid-air)
Select: access Gadget Grid
- D-Pad/Left analog stick: select gadget/ability
- L1, L2, and R2 buttons: assign gadget to button pressed; gadget can then be used with that button
Start: Pause/unpause
