PrinceWatercress plays Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves - Part 20 of 42

It's now time to take on Episode 4 proper. For this entry, we'll be breaking into Tsao's office to get access to his wedding purchase history.

Sly's Jump Attack Level 2 is the same as the Level 1 move except with an extra level of Triangle button charge; just press Triangle twice, then press X to do a more powerful aerial attack.

The pigs have a double hand-slap attack and can shoot a dragon projectile attack that creates a wave effect that obscures a good amount of the screen if it connects. The monkey enemies throw shuriken-like projectiles. The tiger guards with the flashlights throw spears at you in lieu of shooting at you with a gun.

Carmelita is here again, but she has a short route around the temple gates. As long as you don't mess around near the front of the temple, you should be fine.

If you strike one of the red fire barrels, you'll lose half of a full health bar.

Grapple-Cam Break-In

You'll need to play as Sly to start the episode with this job.

General Tsao's place of business is protected with two padlocks, and to get inside, you'll need the keys. The problem is, Tsao has security methods in place for the keys, which contain a self-destruct feature, and both guards carrying the keys are in constant radio contact. If one guard loses their key, the other must destroy theirs immediately. This leads to Sly and Bentley stealing both keys at the same time in order to access the purchase history for Tsao's wedding.

Get to the waypoint to get Sly in position for the pull. You'll then play as Bentley to get the first key. Use L3 to find the guard with the key, then steal it from them with the magnet. You'll then play as Sly again. The guard with the key will be nearby; steal from the guard to get the second key.

If you see any panels with spikes, you can use them to hurt enemies. They actually can't damage you, despite what I say in the video here, as they are actually traps that can be activated by pressing a nearby button, much like in past episodes. Also, the boats going across the water are better programmed to keep you from sliding off compared to the second game.

Once you get both keys, you'll need to get to the waypoint near the front of the temple. Sly will meet with Bentley, who you'll now take control of. Since we already have the Grapple Cam, we can continue with this. Also, if you don't have the Hover Jets for the triple jump , get those two. Get to the snowy graveyard area, get to the waypoint with the locked door, and enter.

At the laser fields that are guarding the door, launch the Grapple Cam through it. Thankfully, the controls will always be on-screen when using the Grapple Cam. You'll need to get the Grapple Cam to lure a guard onto the pressure plate in the room, then you'll need to switch back to Bentley and shoot a sleep dart at the guard to keep him there. This opens a door to the second pressure plate. Get to the upper level and distract the guard so that he runs to the second pressure plate, then hit him with the sleep dart. You are now free to move about this area; just stay away from the searchlights in the upper level so you don't get blasted.

At the end of the upper level is a computer console. Interact with it to play another hacking mini-game. Take out the shields surrounding the green spheres and the enemies that are controlling them to get the spheres, then put the spheres into the nodes. For best results, move around in a circle while firing at these enemies. The light blue diamonds act as shields that neither you or the enemies can fire through. Once you make it to the end, you'll have access to General Tsao's wedding purchase history and the job is complete.
