HCBailly plays Final Fantasy II AGAIN - Part 56 of 65

Once you enter Palamecia, you won't be able to turn back, so be sure you're ready for this place.

You won't be able to use Warp to get out of here, so you'll have no choice but to go forward to go back.

There are two types of Diamond Armor in the game: the Diamond Armor and the Diamond Cuirass. The one here is the Diamond Cuirass, and this is much lighter than the other one. It's got the same defense value, but you don't have the resistance against Lightning-based attacks here like you do the Diamond Armor.

The Stone Golems (S.Golem) are resistant to a lot of spells, so you'll have to beef up your party's offense for the fight if you see one. Their defense, both magic and physical, are high, and they have an evasion of 14-100%, making them hard to hit. They are immune to Body, Mind, Matter and Death elemental spells, strong to Fire, Ice and Thunder, and weak to Poison. They can also cast Stop 8 on the entire party in an attempt to silence you, which can be pretty bad if your magic defense isn't very high. If you've got Flare or Holy high enough, fire away with those. Also, use the Blood Sword, as its status ailments can actually take effect on them.

There is nothing extraordinary about the B. Knights (Black Knights), even though you met them at the beginning of the game.

Generals will now show up here as normal enemies. Keep in mind that they can do multiple hits and that their physical attacks are strong.

While you will be able to find a Sun Sword in a chest, you can get them as a rare random drop here.

The Skulls aren't exactly run-of-the-mill undead enemies. Using Osmose will not work against them, as you'll drain your own MP instead, and the Skull can cast Blizzard 12, Stun 16, and Toad 10.

The Shadows are undead enemies, so use Life on them before they can do any real damage with Death 8. They are the only undead enemies that are not weak to Fire, and they are strong against Ice and Poison. Their physical offense is really high, and they can Curse you with their physical attacks. Do not Osmose them, or you'll lose your own MP instead.

The Thunder Spear is obviously Thunder elemental.
