PrinceWatercress plays Super Mario Odyssey - Part 56 of 92

We get the last three Regional Coins in the game, get the last two seeds planted, then start hunting for even more Power Moons in the Mushroom Kingdom.

The Music List is one of the most interesting things in post-game. Just press the Minus button, then press Y to enter the menu. You can then go anywhere with any music from the game that you want, so if you want to go everywhere with the Steam Gardens theme playing, go nuts.

There is a scarecrow near Peach's castle that lets you get on the roof, and there is another on the roof that allows you to get to the center tower and climb all the way up to see the entire kingdom.

You can drain the moat around the castle. Just go underwater and throw your cap at the four stakes to empty it.

Power Moons

1. Perched on the Castle Roof - This Power Moon is above one of the towers of Peach's Castle. You can backflip and then hat toss jump to reach the spire to climb up it and get this.

10. Found at Peach's Castle! Good Dog! - Go up to the dog at the fountain and follow him around to find a bunch of coins, then take him to a small hill near the Odyssey. The dog will find a glowing spot, which you can ground pound for a Power Moon.

12. Herding Sheep at Peach's Castle - To get this Power Moon, you'll need to find six sheep and bring them back to the sheep pen in the southwest corner of the kingdom. Two are near the Odyssey, one is near the pen itself, one is in the Goomba Woods area with the brown dirt, one is near the well containing the 8-bit area, and one is near the rocket near the Goomba Woods. Bring them all back to the sheep pen for a Power Moon.

16. Love at Peach's Castle - You'll need to drain the castle moat, then head to the Goomba Woods checkpoint and make a stack of at least eight Goombas. There are ten in all, though, and you can use all ten if you want. Take the stack of Goombas back to the lady Goomba at Peach's Castle for a Power Moon.

17. Toad Defender - There is a Toad near Goomba Woods guarding a Power Star, and he will mention that he is keeping it away from the Goombas. Take control of a Goomba and bring it back to this Toad to scare him off and get the Power Moon.

19. Jammin' in the Mushroom Kingdom - There is a Toad near the fountain near the Odyssey with headphones on. If you talk to him, he will tell you that he is looking for a song with the theme "flat 'n blocky classic." This will introduce you to the music list, which you can access at any time with the Minus Button and pressing Y. Any song with "8 bit" in parentheses in the title will do, and when you select one of those, you'll get this Power Moon.

PrinceWatercress plays Chrono Trigger (Super NES) - Part 56 of 70

Now that Lavos is beaten, it's time to explore the game further with New Game Plus!

It's time to get all the endings in New Game Plus mode! In New Game Plus mode, you start out with the same stats that you had from your save where you beat Lavos (or whichever save file you choose). Your character stats, items and techs will all carry over, although some things such as the stuff that people are equipped with when they first join your party do not carry over. Some story-important items such as the Masamune, Hero Medal, Gate Key and the Pendant do not carry over, for obvious reasons. Your money also does not carry over, so if you had a large fortune, you'll have to earn it all over again. On the plus side, you can get items you found all over again, so you can have more than one FrenzyBand if you so choose. You can also get more than one PrismSpecs if you want!

I do the stuff at the Millennial Fair in the way that I should have done it the first time, such as not talking to the girl before returning her cat.

At the Telepod, there will be a shimmer on the right pad. If you walk up to it and press A, you'll enter a gate that takes you straight to the second part (the non-boss rush part) of the battle with the Lavos shell followed by the Lavos body and the Lavos Core with no portal and no save point in-between. I use this portal before talking to Lucca. If you talk to Lucca, Marle will separate from the party, and if you want, you can do a solo battle, which is something I want to try.

As for fighting with only two party members instead of three? Not much different. You'll have to pay more attention to your party's HP and MP, but that's something you should be doing with Lavos, anyway. At least you have Crono and Marle, with Marle being able to Haste herself and Crono and heal pretty well and with Crono being able to do very good damage with Confuse and Luminaire. It's only if you're doing a solo run with just Crono that you can end up being in trouble.

When you beat the Lavos Core, you'll end up at The End of Time. However, the various characters of the game will be avatars for members of the development team. There are eight portals, and you'll enter a room just by walking straight into them. Each room is different and is full of messages from the developers. When you go through all eight portals and talk to everyone, talk to "Gaspar" to open the Spekkio Door. This is where you'll meet The Dream Team, four of which (Akira Toriyama, Hironobu Sakaguchi, Kazuhiko Aoki and Yuji Horii) are represented by manga-style caricatures, with Nobuo Uematsu represented by Norstein Bekkler. When you talk to everyone in here, you'll get the credits at warp speed before the theme from Zeal Kingdom plays in the background.

HCBailly plays Final Fantasy II AGAIN - Part 56 of 65

Once you enter Palamecia, you won't be able to turn back, so be sure you're ready for this place.

You won't be able to use Warp to get out of here, so you'll have no choice but to go forward to go back.

There are two types of Diamond Armor in the game: the Diamond Armor and the Diamond Cuirass. The one here is the Diamond Cuirass, and this is much lighter than the other one. It's got the same defense value, but you don't have the resistance against Lightning-based attacks here like you do the Diamond Armor.

The Stone Golems (S.Golem) are resistant to a lot of spells, so you'll have to beef up your party's offense for the fight if you see one. Their defense, both magic and physical, are high, and they have an evasion of 14-100%, making them hard to hit. They are immune to Body, Mind, Matter and Death elemental spells, strong to Fire, Ice and Thunder, and weak to Poison. They can also cast Stop 8 on the entire party in an attempt to silence you, which can be pretty bad if your magic defense isn't very high. If you've got Flare or Holy high enough, fire away with those. Also, use the Blood Sword, as its status ailments can actually take effect on them.

There is nothing extraordinary about the B. Knights (Black Knights), even though you met them at the beginning of the game.

Generals will now show up here as normal enemies. Keep in mind that they can do multiple hits and that their physical attacks are strong.

While you will be able to find a Sun Sword in a chest, you can get them as a rare random drop here.

The Skulls aren't exactly run-of-the-mill undead enemies. Using Osmose will not work against them, as you'll drain your own MP instead, and the Skull can cast Blizzard 12, Stun 16, and Toad 10.

The Shadows are undead enemies, so use Life on them before they can do any real damage with Death 8. They are the only undead enemies that are not weak to Fire, and they are strong against Ice and Poison. Their physical offense is really high, and they can Curse you with their physical attacks. Do not Osmose them, or you'll lose your own MP instead.

The Thunder Spear is obviously Thunder elemental.

HCBailly plays Final Fantasy IV (Super Famicom) - Part 56 of 70

We learn that the moon has its own set of Crystals as our adventure takes us into the Cave of the Phantom God.

There is a staircase north of where you met FuSoYa. You can find 280 Gil by pressing A on the stairs, and if you go up it, you'll find eight more crystals, revealing that the Moon has its own Light and Dark Crystals. By interacting with them, you'll learn that they keep Zemus sealed in the moon's core. You can get on the teleportation title to enter the core, but you won't get very far as a barrier will stop you.

Before you go back to the Blue Planet, there is an octagon-shaped area on the lunar surface. Land on the north end of it with the Magical Ship, then enter the cave in the center. This is the Cave of the Phantom God.

Cave of the Phantom God

The Genji Gauntlet (aka Genji Glove) can be equipped by Edge, and gives him a lot of much-needed physical defense. Give the Rune Ring to FuSoYa to increase his Wisdom and Will.

The DarkWizard is weak to Piggy, and the Moon Goddess is weak to Mini. You'll want to cast Piggy on the former to stop their spells. The latter are easy to kill, and you can also steal Artemis Arrows from them. Steal at least 80 of those with Edge's Sneak command; you'll need those for Rosa a little later on to deal quadruple damage to the dragon-type enemies near the end of the game.

There is a secret passage just to the east of the start that leads to a Genji Shield, though it won't be better than the Aegis Shield for Cecil.

The Silver Dragon are weak to Mini, and you can also kill them with Quake.

The Genji Armor is one of the best armors in the game for Edge, and it works wonders for his defense.

The Demon Soldiers here don't continuously cast Stone Gaze. They are weak to the Tornado spell, and are impervious to just about any status ailment you can throw at them. They also attack with laser beams and flamethrowers and have a lot of HP.

The Genji Helmet is another useful piece of armor for Edge that will work wonders for his defense.

HCBailly plays Terranigma - Part 56 of 75

We head to Yunkou to look for some sheet metal, but we end up finding an old friend as well as a new task.

World map by Tropicon. Yunkou map by Amir Azadur.

From here, you want to go to China. Head down to the southeastern coast, which is close to Neotokio. There will be a castle of sorts and two spaces worth of buildings near a port. This in Yunkou.

Yunkou

Yunkou is not a big place. You'll enter and exit from the sides of the road, and all the buildings will be to the north of it. Also, everyone speaks in broken English, and it's unclear to me whether or not if this is actually in the original Japanese version of this was done on purpose with the English translation that only officially made it to Europe.

The inn is close to where you enter from, and if you go downstairs from the entry level, you'll find out that Fyda is lying in a bed and has somehow become sick with a mysterious illness. The girl nearby will tell you that nothing tried so far has been able to help her.

To the left of the inn is the tourism center. You'll also learn about the nearby Dragoon Castle, which is no longer open to the public after somebody bought it.

To the right of the inn is the fortune teller and the Magishop.

Behind the building that is behind the fortune teller and Magishop is Magirock #78, which is tucked away in a corner. If you enter said building and enter the room on the left, you'll meet a couple who have abandoned their child in exchange for food during the worst of times and have no idea where she is, and they want to see her again. You'll find out that their daughter's name is Chija. If that name sounds familiar, that's because you met her in the Nomad's village. Go talk to the father again after you've talked to him and the mother, and Ark will tell him where Chija is. They'll head straight to the Nomads' village upon hearing this.

To the left of the couple with the missing daughter is a door that can be easy to miss and is right next to a trash can. This is Lon's, and Mr. Lon is not in the mood to speak with anybody. If you go upstairs and talk to him, he'll tell you his business is finished.

To the left of Mr. Lon's are two booths as well as the medicine house. The booths just sell you drinks for 10 Gems. In the medicine house, you can talk to the doctor here. You'll find out Fyda has a fever and bad dreams, and the only hope for her is Ginseng...but the only way to get it is through Mr. Lon, and he's out of business. If you go back to Mr. Lon and talk to him, ask for the Ginseng. He'll ask if you want to make a deal. Say yes. He'll tell you about his younger brother, Wong, who used to run the business with him until someone bought Dragoon Castle and also a lot of other things to store there. He then asks you to check on Wong, and he wants to stop him if he's doing anything bad. Say yes, and he'll give you the Ginseng. Talk to Mr. Lon again, and he'll tell you that he thinks Wong is at Dragoon Castle.

From there, head back to the doctor and hand him the Ginseng. He will tell you to make it into a drink that Fyda can drink so her sickness can be cured.

skorch82 plays Brave Fencer Musashi - Part 56 of 70

We're going back to the mines this time around!

When you look around, you'll find out that the two kids in the village are jumping up and down near the diner. When you talk to them, you're going to find out that there is a giant ant trying to attack the Gondola office to eat the pea soup and syrup. If it stays there, the gondola won't be able to come down. Musashi has an idea, and it involves heading back to the castle.

Do it. Head back to the castle and take the gondola. The gondola will strike the giant ant, causing it to break a hole in the top of the metal grate above the office. You'll have to climb up to it and go down the hole.

When you drop down, you'll find out the ant is dead and that the path to the right has some poisonous purple clouds. If you go to the left, you'll approach a dead end. If you head down here late at night, you'll find another Minku.

Now that you're done with the Minku, it's time for that poison gas. Walking into it obviously poisons you, so you'll want to charge up the Wind Scroll and blow that gas away with your spin slash.

You'll soon head to a fork in the road, with the left path containing the blue mushroom enemies from the mine. Take that path so you can rescue Cook Chiffonade. Talk to him at the castle, and you'll be able to get Rice Balls at the store.

The path to the right contains the Rip-off enemies from the mine. You'll also see a spike pit you won't be able to jump across. There is, however, a bunch of boulders in the background near the pit. Use the Earth Scroll to break the background walls and make a bridge out of the boulders.

Grab the narrow wooden rods on the weights to continue. Watch for the enemies that drop down the gaps.

The next area has a bunch of halted elevators. You'll want to avoid touching the black parts where the elevator platforms are supposed to come out of, but also the liquid bincho pit at the very bottom.

The OddBone is a Baton. It's useless.

Drop down to the bottom and take the path to the right. You'll soon see a cart that you can ride...

Chilean Retrogamer plays Wario Land 2 - Part 56 of 57

Here it is: the final stage. Once you've cleared this, you're done.

Wario finally finds where the treasure is: a hidden door in a tree. It's time for payback on Captain Syrup after all she's put us through!

The Really Final Chapter

Time Attack: Steal the Syrup's Treasure!

Unlike the rest of the game, the coin counter is replaced with a timer. Your task is to find Syrup's treasure in the shortest amount of time.

1:01 - For this one, you'll want to ground pound the middle of the starting area and bash your way to the lower-left corner of this screen, then ground pound to enter the area below.

1:48 - Stun the snowman here and enter the door.

2:01 - You'll want to be perfect with your jumping as you jump onto the dressers and avoid the flying skulls as you make your way to the door in the top center.

2:40 - Bash your way up, then left to the door.

2:49 - You'll want to stun the lightning beetle and take it with you to break the enemy blocks that get in the way of the next door. Throw it in the narrow crawlspace, then pound the ground when it comes to so you can walk into it from behind and stun it, giving you easy access.

3:58 - First ears, now mouths. As you question the home decor of this secret tree cave, throw the Spear Goons on the paths in the walls and jump on them from the side opposite where you're going. If you're going right, jump on them from the left. If you're going left, jump on them from the right.

4:24 - I hate this part. You've done this before, but here you're really going to have to be good at jumping off the very edge and changing direction mid-jump if you want to continue as quickly as possible.

5:28 - You'll have to use the birds as platforms to get to the next door.

5:59 - Spikes and conveyor belts. I am also convinced that you could do a tackle, then duck down and jump to get past the spikes just before the next door.

6:42 - Use the big rocks to become Flat Wario, then avoid the water droplets as you climb up and jump to the right to reach the door on the other end of the room.

7:37 - All this for a giant spear man? Really? Well, it's not like he's impossible to finish off, anyway.

brickroadbrickroad and SovanJedi play Secret of Evermore - Part 56 of 88

We see freak-like things, a pig race, and a dog maze. Yes. A dog maze. Now you get to spend some quality time with The Dog. Alone.

All maps by Grizzly.

The Freak Show

After seeing Mr. Head, the Unigoat, and Mungola (or the lack thereof), you'll finally see the Pigpoodle...your dog in a pig mask. He'll run away, then he run around aimlessly outside before he unintentionally participates in a pig race...and wins. You become the guest of honor at the queen's banquet. You show up at the banquet hall...but the dog doesn't. Instead, The Dog is about to become the meal!

Thankfully, The Dog escapes into a ventilation shaft...but now you're in a maze. Now the game has you spending time with The Dog.

Dog Maze

Map

Also, if you forget the key, you can come back here. Just get close to the vents with The Dog when you're in the castle with both characters.
