HCBailly plays Final Fantasy II AGAIN - Part 46 of 65

In this entry, we find ourselves inside a giant fish, find out a dead man is still alive, and break the seal on Mysidia Tower.

The SeaDragn (Sea Dragon) can cast Tsunami 8 on the entire party, which can do a bit of damage. Hit it with powerful Thunder spells.

When you go up the stairs and talk to everybody, you'll find out that you're inside the large fish known as Leviathan, and that he also protects the magic seal on Mysidian Tower. (Why are there chairs, desks and bookcases in a fish?!?) Use the Crystal Rod on the guy blocking your path. He'll introduce himself as Ricard of the Dragoon Clan, and he'll help you get past the beast blocking the path to access a boat and get out of here. Ricard is still alive!

You can Ask Ricard about "Wyvern," "Dragoon," "Mysidia," and Ultima Tome," to get some dialogue out of him.

The Power Armlet is very light and has pretty good defense.

HCBailly goes ahead and puts some lighter armor on Ricard to get some better stats out of him.

The Gaia Sword is strong against Earth-type enemies, which you won't come across often.

The MantaRays are Rank 5, but they just do physical attacks and have no special abilities or weaknesses.

When you make it to the ship, you'll find some big blue worm blocking your path to it. Talk to it to start a boss battle with the Roundworm (Roundwrm).

The Roundworm - which is Rank 7, the highest enemy rank in the game - isn't really that hard if you've got Toad or Mini and powered up them to at least Level 5. Otherwise, the Roundworm has very high attack power and physical defense, so Curse it first. Be sure to have Ricard attack, as he can deal as much as eight hits, even though he won't be as powerful as your main party members.

Once you beat the Worm, you'll be able to head over to Mysidia Tower. When you approach it, a big red pillar of light comes out from the top, confirming that you've broken the seal. You can now enter.
