In this entry, we prepare to enter the seventh dungeon.
Now that you have the Frog Song of Soul, go back to the Flying Rooster statue. If you push the statue north, you'll uncover an underground stairway. Go in and go north, and you'll find the remains of the Flying Rooster. Play the Frog Song of Soul, and you'll be able to bring the Flying Rooster back to life. The Flying Rooster will then follow you around.
Before you head off to find a way to get the key for the seventh dungeon, you'll need to head towards the castle. Remember the underground stairs behind all those gaps you couldn't even make a running jump over? That leads to a chest containing 20 Rupees (or a Secret Seashell, if you still don't have the Level 2 sword).
From here, head to the mountains. As you approach the mountains, the owl will tell you to go east to the seventh dungeon. Head back to the chicken man's house and talk to the chicken man. He will ask if you have carried the Flying Rooster over your head. Equip the Power Bracelet and go west from the house, and pick up the Flying Rooster with the Power Bracelet to get over the gaps. Throw the Flying Rooster to let go. Go through the underground passage, then go through the area where the boulders drop from the top. There will be a lone rock to the west when you reach the top, and if you lift it up, you'll find a secret passage to the last item upgrade altar.
From here, you'll want to go back to the chicken man's house and go into the cave near it. Make your way to the bit pit that has seemingly no way to get through it and grab the Flying Rooster to fly over it. On the other side is the Bird Key. Then, leave the cave and go east through the bottom of the mountains to get back to Eagle's Tower and put the Bird Key in the nearby keyhole to open the tower up.
