In this entry, we finally go underwater. Amazingly, the bosses are still as simple as ever.
Round 3
If you manage to get past the falling bridge at the beginning, you'll enter a much higher area in the second section with some cool power-ups. Otherwise, you'll be in the water and you'll be swimming around for most of the level.
The whole of the stage is swimming. The dinosaurs with the harpoon guns are best hit from the front; you can hit them from underneath, but you risk taking damage if you do.
The bonus area here has you flipping with B in mid-air a zillion times before landing at the bottom. If you land on your head, you get no bonus points, but if you land on your feet, you'll get a ton of points depending on how much you somersault
Hold Up at the surface of the water to ensure that you jump out of the water. This especially helps with the third section, and you'll need all the pick-ups and smileys you can get.
The jellyfish just float, while the turtle subs shoot out turtle missiles if you headbutt the head. The missiles turn you into a turtle and allow you to take an extra hit while being able to hide if you attack, but you won't need the form here. As for the sub's regular missiles, just avoid them.
The boss here is a shark sub. Avoid the fin, and when the shark sub surfaces, get to the end of the screen it is facing, jump straight up and headbutt the head. If you can time it right, you can do two or even three headbutts; you can also hit the head from underneath. It won't be long until you enter Round 4.
