PrinceWatercress plays Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus (GBA) - Part 24 of 25


It's time for some more racing fun with Race Mode. Here, we play through seven tracks in about twenty minutes and get through the meat of the mode.

Map 6

The green track gives you temporary invincibility and a speed boost, which makes it easier to pass through the other racers, especially when they're attacking with the red fields. Aside from that, watch out on the ramps that make up the first half of the race. If you get hit there, you're going to be slowed down tremendously. Also, watch out for that one spike pit!

Map 7

The electrical fields will shock you and stun you, so jump over them when you see them. Thankfully, using a green field will let you zoom right through them.

Also, holding Down while jumping allows you to flip.

Map 8

This time, you'll have to jump up walls while going up slopes. Because of these two walls, this course may take some practice to get through and get first place on.

Map 9

Now you're going to have bounce panels on the floors, too! Thankfully, there are signs that tell you that you can be upside down and race on the ceiling in those sections.

Map 10

The course floors look a little bit different, but not by much. Once again, you may have to practice this one to get first place on it.

Map 11

After being absent for a few courses, the gray tracks come back. Also, using all those boost tracks is essential if you want to get the lead and maintain it.

Map 12

For this one, the bounce panels on the floor come back with a vengeance, and you'll have to bounce across them to get through this race. Thankfully, while you will lose speed on those bouncy floor sections, so will your opponents, so keep control of your hoverboard and you should be able to ge through this one.
