PrinceWatercress plays Tougi Ou: King Colossus - Part 2 of 22

Our next task is to get the sword we found repaired, but it's not going to be that easy.

From Muuk's house, head to Ganant's Place.

Ganant's Place

At the entrance, the man standing nearby will tell you that Ganant has gone into hiding and nobody knows where he is. There is supposedly a secret chamber somewhere, but nobody has been able to find it.

Some enemies hold keys. They're just like the bombs in the South-West Cave and serve the same purpose by unlocking doors instead of blowing them up.

The snake enemies will come at you if you are lined up with it. Strike it before it strikes you.

The gray and brown spiders take more damage than the ones you've already met. If you come across a group of them, take them out with the Crack Bomb spell.

When you enter the room with the large gaping pit, jump in. You'll be in the secret chamber. By talking to the people here, you'll learn that Ganant's daughter has been kidnapped by religious fanatics, and unless you rescue her from Gryuud's followers, you won't be able to get that sword fixed.

If you talk to Ganant, you'll be able to leave the secret chamber and leave the dungeon.

Once you return to the room with the giant pit, make your way to the north side of the room and go through the door there.  You'll meet some new enemies: some weird looking bugs that take two hits (at this point) and move in a linear fashion.

Ganant's Key will allow you . The purple flower enemy turns into a spore when you kill it, and you'll want to be nearby to kill the spore before the plant revives itself. Once you do that, the purple flower enemy is gone for good. Be sure to talk to the man nearby after you kill the purple flower enemy. He will give you a necklace that belonged to Ganant's daughter.

The Metal Ball is the first flail-type weapon in the game. You'll swing it when you use it in battle, and if you hold the C button for less than two full rotations, the ball will fly off at a random angle and damage anything it hits before it disappears. This can be somewhat useful in rooms filled with enemies. The ball will also come apart if it hits a wall.

With the necklace in hand, go see Ganant again. You'll give him the necklace, then he will tell you about his daughter Fahm before asking you to go rescue her. Choose "Yes," and you'll be able to repair the Iron Sword.

Muuk's Cabin

Go back to Muuk's house and talk to Muuk. Muuk will tell you that Gryuud's followers will probably use Fahm as a sacrifice, and that she should currently be held in Gryuud's Tower. Say "Yes" when he asks if you are prepared, and he will give you the Believer's Mark, which will allow you access into Gryuud's Tower.
