HCBailly plays Final Fantasy III - Part 22 of 44

We get to the heart of what is causing the war in Salonia and finally make our way out of there.

Head to the castle. One of the soldiers from behind the guards will let you in.

Enter the tower across from the entrance and talk to the soldier. He'll tell you to rest in the bed for the night, and that the king will see you in the morning. Do it. After a little bit of conversation, King Gorn will show up and attack Prince Allus with a knife! Someone named Gigames will show up and tell the King to kill Allus. However, the King refuses and breaks free of Gigames's spell. Gigames fatally wounds Gorn and threatens to kill Allus, but the heroes step in. Turns out, this is Garuda.

Use Jump on Garuda the entire time with all four characters. That's it.

Sadly, King Gorn dies, and asks Allus to take his place. Allus does. If you go up the stairs to the throne room and talk to Allus, he'll tell you to take anything in the castle you find useful.
One of the girls in the throne room will tell you about Noah's Lute, which allows you to enter the Dream World and is found in the Temple of Time. The other tells you about the temple that sunk into the sea, south of Salonia and currently resting below the "two horns."

The Scholar Hat and the Golden Spear are the most useful things in the treasure trove in the secret passage east of where you rested. Also, the Medusa Arrows here are the last of which you can find in the game.

One of the soldiers will want you to look for a secret passage in the Wizards' room that is two steps from the right. This is the door in the lower-left part of the castle grounds.

In the Wizards' room, you'll learn theat Archmage Noah split his power between three people: Zande, Dorga and Unne. The three wizards of Dalug are the only ones who could cause such a disaster. Also, you should be able to most past those winds that pushed us back earlier with the Nautilus, the flying ship that can be found here. Dalug is your next destination.

Go up to the upper-right corner, look at the north wall while next to the stool in that corner and press A. This opens the secret passage. From there, you'll be able to find two FenixDowns. That's all you can do there for now.

The lower-right door leads to the Engineers. Talk to one of them and you'll get the Nautilus.

Go to Southwest Salonia and purchase three Black Robes and one White Robe. Also, get two Ice3 spells, a Flame Rod, three Ice Rods, three Light Rods, one Cure3 spell, one Life spell, three Bolt3 spells and one Kill spell in northeast Salonia.

Also, revert everyone in your party back to their previous classes.
