It's now time for a side-quest!
Here's an optional sidequest. Dive into the water just outside of the southeast corner of Salonia. You'll find the Salonia Catacombs. Enter.
Fahan can cast Brak2, so Mute him as soon as possible. Kenkos has a lot of HP.
If you don't have a Golem Staff, you'll find one here, This will let you increase your Strength by 5 as well as Petrify an enemy a third of the way. You'll also find the Aegis Shield, another Reflect Armor and another Gaia Robe. You'll also find a Giyaman Bell.
There is a hidden passage to the right in the second to last room that leads to a couple of Elixirs and Fenix Downs. However, the chests are full of monsters. The Ouroboros have a lot of HP, and can be easily taken out with Lightning-based spells. The Ion are easier to take down.
When you climb up the stairs, you'll meet the guy in Salonia Castle we couldn't talk to earlier: Odin. Talking to him triggers a tough boss battle.
Use your most powerful attacks (Karateka's BuildUp is pretty useful here.) and be careful concerning Odin's Atom Edge attack. This can lay waste to your party very easily if your health isn't high enough. With 7000 HP, Odin can prove a tough fight if you're not prepared.
Beating Odin will give you the Odin summon. The white casting casts Reflect on all party members, the Black casting casts Atom Edge on all enemies, and the Summon casting casts Zantestuken, which kills all enemies.
