HCBailly plays Final Fantasy III - Part 24 of 44

We take on the Temple of Time in search of Noah's Lute...

By landing the Nautilus in water, you'll be able to go underwater. This can allow you to access places that you wouldn't normally be able to get to, such as Dorga's Village. To get there, go to the lower-right coast of the continent with Dorga's house and get into the water. There will be a green path inside the ground that you can move through. From there, return to ground level and you're there.

Here, you'll find out that all the magic in the village was called from ancient times by Sir Dorga. You'll be able to get the Level 7 spells here from the guy in the lower-right corner. (The one standing still directly across from the village has the Level 6 spells.) Out of all the Level 7 spells, get Quake (which is insanely powerful), Brak2 (another instant death spell, but is far more likely to work), and Cure4 (an even more powerful version of Cure)

Drain drains the HP of enemies, Heal cures all status ailments, and Wall acts much like the Reflect spell.

Your next destination is the Temple of Time, which is located underwater, northwest of Dorga's Village. It's on the crescent-shaped southern tip of the continent where Salonia is.

Check out the locked rooms near the start. The Diamond Helmet, Diamond Shield, Diamond Armor and Diamond Gloves work wonders for the Knight, while the Diamond Ring is useful for the Wizards (though you'll find something better shortly).

The Dirais are weak to wind, and are one of the few enemies in this area that has any sort of elemental weakness.

The Defender Sword goes will with the King Sword. If you have a Knight, equip both and watch the attack power go through the roof.

You'll find another Orihalcon here. If you have a Thief in your party, this is good news.

On the final floor, you'll meet some monsters that you wouldn't see anywhere else such as the Behemoths, which have a lot of HP. Use your Level 7 spell charges on the final floor to ensure survival.

There is a wall at the upper-left corner in the beginning of the final floor. Go up to it and brave the waterfalls (don't forget to heal up!) to find two Protect Rings for your Wizards (the best in the game) and a Lamias Harp.

You'll eventually find Noah's Lute in the last floor. Once you find it, press A to take it. No boss here!
