HCBailly plays Final Fantasy III - Part 31 of 44

Finally, after the longest time, we see the Earth Crystal!

Give the Genji Armor to the Mystic Knight if you have one.

Thankfully, you'll reach the boss after going through a long secret passage. If you had a Knight that was changed to a Hunter, change him back. You'll need the Knight for the boss. Get the Earth Fang, and you'll trigger a boss battle.

Hekaton is easiest when you cast Haste on your party and go all out. Hekaton may have 6500 HP, but he's really not as hard as one would think if you've been level grinding all game.

You're done here, so get the Earth Fang. and get out of this maze.

Once you're head out, head back to where the statues were northwest of the Cave of Darkness. Get rid of the last pair of statues, then head to the other side of this area. You'll see the Ancient's Labyrinth.

Across from the entrance is the Earth Crystal itself. Before you can even get near it, though, you'll have to fight Titan. Guess what? He's about the same as Hekaton.

When you interact with the Earth Crystal, and after you hear it's plea to stop the Cloud of Darkness, you'll finally get more job classes. You'll then learn about the Sylx Tower, which was bulity by concentrating the power of Light. Zande is trying to summon the Dark Cloud there using the power of the Light. You'll have to stop him, obviously.

Shaman is an upgraded version of the White Wizard, Warlock is an upgraded version of the Black Wizard and Summoner is an upgraded version of Conjurer. Obviously, those among you playing like HCBailly is will want to switch to Shaman and Warlock from the Wizard classes from the beginning of the game, which will cause the armor you got earlier in the game for later use to finally be equippable for them.

Head back to Dorga's House. (Take the Invicible back to the Ancient Ruins, then use the Nautilus - which has still been there the entire time - and use it to get there.)
