PrinceWatercress plays StarTropics - Part 4 of 12

If you don't know what you're doing, this part can be pretty hard.

Islands Map (by Chiasm)

At Ghost Village, you'll see quite a few gravestones. One of them is a bit more blue than the others, and if you walk into it, you'll enter a dungeon.

The Ghost Tunnel has a few false exits. At the first "big" room, don't go north or else you'll be forced to start over. Ditto with taking the stairs south of the "water and tiles" room shortly afterwards, and going up the stairs to the room south of the ghost room to the west past the "water and tiles" room. In that room, you will want to go through the wall to the right just before the stairs to continue on.

Speaking of the ghosts, they will be invisible, and you won't be able to see them unless you have the scepter. The scepter is a magical item that can be used up to four times. Use it in a seemingly empty room to reveal all the ghosts. From there, you can destroy them all, now that they are solid. They move back and forth, and they are not fast, but they are not slow either. They go down in one hit.

The skeleton dogs (which I call "ghost dogs") will come at you when they see you. Let them come at you if you can.

The skulls bounce around much like the octopi from Chapter 2, and they take two hits to kill.

The mummies take mulitple hits to kill. At least they're slower than the emus with the human skull heads.

The green pipe slowly shoots fireballs at you.

In the dark room, you'll have to wait for a tile to come out of the water before you can jump south from it to the next room. This is an optional path, but it's worth taking, as you can find the lantern, which can light up a dark room if you need to. You can use it up to five times, and the lantern does not last forever. When you go back onto the main path, you'll need the lantern for the tiles that rise and sink out of the water.

The hands that come out of the ground throw projectiles at you. Jump over their two projectiles, then move forward. When they pop back out of the ground, be ready to hit them. Thankfully, they go down in two hits.

In the room with the floor set up to look like a skull, go north; otherwise, you will hit a dead end.

The reflective mirror is used to send projectiles back at the guys in the robes. Time your button presses right when they shoot at you in one of four directions so that the fireball hits the mirror as soon as Mike pulls it out. That way, the fireballs will be reflected back on the wizard guys in the robes to kill them.
