Believe it or not, there is an ending to this game if you've gotten all the scrolls and followed the hint! Behold!
Stage 10
In this stage, enemies will come at you from all sides. During the second half of the game (and especially here), some ninjas will circle around you if you get too close, and they will eventually become too fast to hit and kill you.
The light blue samurai are very fast. If you see them, run away so you can line them all up and kill them.
There will soon be some lanterns to the left. Go to the last one, attack it three times, then disappear three times. You'll enter the final level.
Stage 11
If you don't take the correct path here, you'll be going forward endlessly until you do.
At the beginning, take the left path. As you move, take care and take out any enemies that you see. At the end of the path, travel along the right path. From there, take the middle path. You'll then meet a new boss who has a pair of guns. Just keep pressing Button 2 as soon as you're lined up with him to destroy all of his bullets and decimate him. When you beat this guy, you'll rescue the princess and beat the game! Congratulations!
