...and this is where the game starts getting hard.
Level 4: Iceberg
Level 4-1
The door below the fireball leads to an easily accessible animal buddy. If you have the Fireball ability when you come in here, you'll be able to break the blocks and get the animal body. (Keep this in mind for later, as you'll need Fireball to get the fourth Rainbow Drop.)
The second section introduces you to the ice-breathing penguins. Inhaling and swallowing these guys will give you the last ability in the game that we have yet to show off: Ice. Watch out for the blocks that break when you stand on them!
Next will be the mini-boss. This one is a cube with feet. He'll charge at you, and if he runs into a wall, a rock will come out which you can use as ammunition. He'll also leap into the air and come straight down like a rock, almost exactly like King Dedede in the first Kirby's Dream Land. You can swallow him for the Stone ability after beating him if you want.
If you do, the fourth and last section will be a cinch, especially if you have Rick. Just use the Stone ability and you'll be able to make it to the goal.
Level 4-2
In the first section, you'll be blown to the right by the wind. Shortly after the beginning, you'll find two doors. Enter the one on the right and take care of the Parasol mini-boss to get Coo. From there, use Coo to get to the door on the left.
The second section is all vertical, and if you absorbed the Parasol ability from the mini-boss, you'll be able to get to the top without getting hit in the head by an icicle. There's a Maxim Tomato at the top if you need it.
The third section is block bashing time. From here, break the blocks and you'll come across a door. Find the Fireball enemy and take his Fireball power, then head out and break through the ice blocks below. Go left to get the one-up, then continue like normally as going right would take you to that rotor thing that steals your animal buddy. From there, you'll reach the goal.
Level 4-3
From the beginning, make your way to the right. You'll meet Chilly the Walrus again, and he fights just like he does in Kirby's Adventure: avoid his attacks and send his ice cubes back at him. Just like in past games, he has the Ice power-up if you swallow him. When you beat him, you'll also get Kine the Fish. Take him.
Head out and you'll be in the second section. Swim around and you'll find both a star and a Maxim Tomato at the middle if you swim upwards past the star blocks. If you have Kine and the Ice ability, you'll be able to tear this section up.
When you enter the third section, that rotor thing will be in front of you. Thankfully, Ice will take care of him immediately. From here, it's a short trip to the goal.
Level 4-4
The stage beings with a fight against the Fireball mini-boss. Take him out, and take both the Fireball ability - and Rick - if you need them. This is especially true of the Fireball ability, since you'll need this - and Kine - for the Rainbow Drop.
The second section is auto-scrolling. Pay attention to enemies and the environment as you make your way to the next section.
The third section is another corridor on rails. When you make your way to the ice blocks, break them with Kine and the Fireball ability. Do not break the ice blocks guarding the 1-Up and the Maxim Tomato; otherwise, you will make this impossible. When you make your way to the star blocks below the middle set of ice blocks, quickly ditch your power, swallow a star block, spit the star block back out, and get your ability back. Do this twice. If you do this correctly, you should have a way into the door blocked by the strong currents underneath the star blocks as well as your Fireball ability retained. Go in, and break the ice blocks on the left. You got it!
There's also a 1-Up and a Maxim Tomato near the ice blocks leading to the Rainbow Drop room if you need them. Just break the ice blocks blocking them with the Fireball ability.
From here, leave the room, make your way to the right as normal and just head and it's a short trip to the goal.
Level 4 Boss: Ice Dragon
He has three attacks, and they're all easy to predict. When he spins his tail around for a second, he's going to move around. When he jumps up high into the air and comes towards you, he'll come back down when you're under him and send three icicles out from the ceiling. You can use these as ammunition in case you don't have an ability. When he flashes, he'll shoot out an ice breath attack. And if he jumps up a little bit, he'll send a sheet of ice out at you.
Altogether, he's not a hard boss, and if you have the Fireball ability, you can take him out even faster.
Level 4 Bonus
Avoid the icicles and catch the stars as they come down. That's all, really. Just remember that everything bounces once before disappearing for good.
