Believe it or not, there is a sub-game mode that allows you to play the mini-games that you can play during the main game. Until I made this guide, I had no idea that the second and third stage mini-games had a 50-50 chance of popping up, hence why I thought the Whack-a-Mole mini-game was exclusive to this mode.
The water gun game has the first stage layout, but has you playing against the fourth stage boss.
There is also a two-player mini-game mode with an exclusive Simon Says game where the first person to mess up loses.
