PrinceWatercress plays Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry! - Part 13 of 20


We have a few more Timber matches, and we can do two of them right now. Here's one of them!


From here, you can either do Mi-Young Dong (Nari) or Diana. I do Nari here.

Head to Prune and talk to Kyle and Finley regarding Nari. You'll find out that you'll have to work at Prune in order to meet her. Unfortunately, there are no job openings if you ask about them.

Head to Hell's Pawn and take one of the flyers from the bar. It is a blank contract for a stripper internship. From here, go back to Lefty's Bar and take the washing machine tunnel to the jail cell. Go to the right end of the cell and use the fleshlight on the ink pad on the desk, then use the fleshlight on the blank contract. From here, head back to the outside of Lefty's Bar, and go to Prune Headquarters and use the contract on Kyle and Finley. You're now officially an employee of Prune, and your access card from way back at the beginning of the game will take you to the work area where Mi Young-Dong is. Just remember to use the card on the elevator every time you want to use it.

You'll also get PrunePal, which is a parody of PayPal, which will allow you to buy some things from the grocery store behind the Leisure Suite. For now, use the access card on the elevator and head to "Prune Office." This will take you to the work area where Nari is. After a very awkward introduction, Larry will get to know Mi-Young - who goes by the name Nari - who thinks that Larry is a fellow nerd like her. Thankfully, the conversation gets better, then you'll find out that Nari needs to get the PiPhone prototype squared away. She asks you for a coffee first. Go to the coffee machine to the left, and click on it. Thankfully, there's no way to screw this up. Give the coffee to Nari, and she will suddenly warm up to Larry. Nari will update the access card so you can go to the tech lab and run the experiments on the PiPhone so you can finally have that date.

Use the elevator to go to the tech lab, and you'll see the PiPhone prototype. Go through everything on the second set of dialogue options (it doesn't matter what you pick for the first), and you'll find out that Proto Pi can't take the experiments any more. She asks you to help her past the tests. Tell Proto Pi you'll save her, and it will be on to the experiments.

The machine that runs the tests will show which test is up, and if you press the level above Proto Pi, you'll run the test. The first test is fire, and to help Proto Pi pass this test, you'll need an item you don't have yet. If you talk to Proto Pi, you'll find out that you need something cold  Take the elevator all the way back down to the store, then grab the Thermal Jug on the ground near the left dome. After this, head to the store behind the Leisure Suite and and click on the slushy machine. You'll make a slushy. Place it in the thermal jug so it doesn't melt after a certain amount of time, then head back to the tech lab and use it on the PiPhone prototype. Pull the lever and you'll pass the first test. Amazingly, the thermal jug will also survive.

The second test is a saw blade. If you run the test now, Proto Pi will tell you some kind of armor wouldn't hurt. This is where the chainmail bra from the VIP lounge in Hell's Pawn comes in; if you don't have it, go get it. Use the chainmail bra on the PiPhone prototype, and you'll pass the second test once you pull the lever.

The third test is radiation. If you run the test now, the phone will become irradiated. This is where the tinfoil hat comes in. You'll have to go to the Funfair and talk to Smokey Bear and use the "torches and pitchforks" dialogue option later in the game to get it, but we already have it. Use it on Proto Pi, then pull the lever to pass the third test.

The fourth test is a laser. If you run the test, Larry will mention deflecting the laser. Use the mirror you got from Tuck, and the laser will deflect off and burn through the nearby flip chart and through the casing where a battery is. You'll have passed the first four tests.

Nari will then tell you through the intercom that you'll need to recalibrate the software on the prototype. Ask what the worst that could happen from a field co, and you'll find out that Proto Pi can hae a mind of its own, overheat and eventually explode. When Larry tries to calibrate Proto Pi, Proto Pi will get upset, and when she asks if you enjoy torturing her, say you're only following orders. This will allow Larry to enter software configuration mode. It doesn't matter which options you use, as Proto Pi will feel strange and hate your forever no matter what.

Before you leave, take the Super Power Bank, which you can now grab thanks to the laser test. It's on the wall to the right of the testing machine. From here, go back to the office and talk to Nari. Before you can go on that date, you'll have to prove you're a serious nerd. You'll find out that Leisure Suit Larry knows stuff about the fictional "Super Megaton" home console, and you'll also find that you'll need to find a "Treasure Loot Larry" module before you can go on that date.
