PrinceWatercress plays Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy - Part 8 of 20


We head to the Lost Precursor City. Who knows what we'll find here?

0:57 - The entrance to the Lost Precursor City.

1:45 - The flying enemies can be easily beaten if they are not puffed up. Also, watch out for yellow coils; they are hot and will hurt you.

3:20 - The first Scout Flyer. For the two guys that are stacked on top of each other, you can smack the top guy with Circle in mid-air, then smack both guys to get rid of them once and for all.

3:41 - Let's try this again. Hit this button by pressing Square when above it in mid-air, then jump from platform to platform before the platforms sink back into the water for a ton of pick-ups. Get the Blue Eco along the way, so you can open up the hatch. If the water is glowing green, you don't want to be in it as it is; you'll be electrified and you'll take a hit. Use the button on the other end to get back.

5:04 - By standing on one of these platforms, you'll move the other one around in a circular motion. This will help you get the second Scout Flyer.

6:16 - The third Scout Flyer.

7:10 - Fun with Blue Eco.

7:49 - The platforms here flip around every so often. Watch what's going on while you're going for this Power Cell and the surrounding Precursor Orb.

8:22 - Wait for these guys to come to you before smashing them from above with the Square button. They do stop spinning after a while; you can go up to them then.

8:47 - Glitching out the platforms (and the Black Eco).

9:21 - This corridor leads to a series of platforms on water. At the end is a Precursor door with a Power Cell behind it; to get the Power Cell, you must land on every platform in the water without landing on one twice. If you can land on all the platforms once and get to the door at the end afterwards, you'll get the Power Cell here.

11:46 - Watch out for the electricity and the whirlwind while going in here. Be quick on the platforms so you can get the Power Cell here.

14:34 - The slide. Hold forward to move faster and hold back to slow down your descent.

15:18 - Use the Blue Eco event to power up the five balls in the room to open up this separate chamber.

16:06 - The fourth Scout Flyer. Jump on the platforms before the steam lifts them up.

16:47 - Going inside the chamber and stomping down the button will let the chamber out, and you can use the nearby platforms to get to the Power Cell above.
