In this entry, we return the phone that we found, meet Faith, meet even more people and then get a few things in the game set up.
You'll be at Prune Headquarters, which looks very phallic. The name of the CEO, Bill Jobs aka "BJ," is also pretty phallic. You'll be going to BJ's office at the skyloft to return the PiPhone.
Before you go in, there is a red and black item to the left. It's a Thermos...or rather, a Thermal Jug, as Thermos is copyrighted. You'll need it later. I don't pick it up yet.
From here, talk to Kyle and Finley, who are nearby. As you talk to them, the PiPhone will be brought up. You'll learn that the PiPhone is really a top secret prototype, and Finley will hand you a single-use access card that will allow you to go to the skyloft. Just use it on the elevator and then select the skyloft to go up there.
When you go up there, you'll meet BJ and his assistant, Faith. Before you show up there, BJ will be angry that the PiPhone prototype has gone missing. From here, you can go through the dialogue as Larry hands the prototype back to BJ and Faith and also tries to ask Faith out on a date. Larry will also learn that BJ is the founder of Prune as well as the CEO, and learn that the PiPhone is a very versatile smartphone. Larry continues to be persistent about dating Faith, but Faith says she only hooks up with the dating app Timber, and that she does not accept any contacts with less than 90 points. From there, Faith hands Larry a voucher for a free PiPhone, and from there, Larry can install Timber and try to get points from there.
Larry will leave the skyloft. When you get control of Larry, use the voucher on Finley and Kyle to get your PiPhone. You'll also get an achievement ("Late Adopter"). Larry will learn how the PiPhone works in the most basic sense as you go through the dialogue (and also get a reference to lootboxes), then Larry will ask for help with setting up the Timber profile. Finley and Kyle are happy to help, but Larry has to help them out first. Kyle wants super-soft toilet paper as Prune Incorporated has very cheap TP, while Kyle wants used women's panties, and tell Larry he has to do this to prove he is "a real player."
If you're playing on Build 26 or later, you'll get a message box showing the controls again. This time, you can press U to call an Unter and go between locations in the game. I'll mention how this works shortly.
The PiPhone will replace the notebook in the lower-left corner, and you'll be able to get a few new options: Instacrap (which lets you replay cutscenes you've unlocked) and Unter (which lets you switch between locations assuming you're on the street where an orange Unter sign is present).
There's nothing more to do here, so leave Prune Headquarters through the glass door, use the Unter app and go to Lefty's. Don't worry about paying; you'll be able to go anywhere for free for the duration of the game. Re-enter Larry's Bar.
When you re-enter, you'll meet Erin, who mentions that the Internet is down as she talks to Lefty. When she leaves, you'll notice that Becky is gone and that a frayed plug is now available to interact with. If you grab it at this point in time, you'll be able to kill Larry and unlock an EGA-style cutscene where Larry is rebuilt for laughs. You can't die in this game, but you can still get "death scenes" as Easter eggs.
Head back to the bar and talk to Larry. Go through the dialogue. You'll learn a little more about Erin, and Larry will learn what the Internet is and that the PiPhone can access it. You can ask for a room, but you won't be able to get one due to Erin renting it at the moment. You'll also learn that the pipes are broken, and Lefty will give you the key to the back room. He'll tell you to fire up the brewing vat again by pulling the lever down, turning the valve and pushing the lever back up, but before you can do that, you'll have to fix a pipe. You'll also learn that the jukebox is really the Internet router.
Use the back room key on the pink back room door. When you use the key, it will break, but you'll have unlimited access to the room. Grab the bottle of softener on the washing machine to the right then head back to the bar.
Head to the bathroom. Becky Butter will be in the stall, and if you talk to her, you'll find out that Becky is making a video on her PiPhone as she is puking and pooping in the toilet. She also accuses Larry of putting something in her drink, even though Larry was sick, too. If you ask for the toilet paper, Becky will ask for a pair of panties. Head back to the back room, click on the clothes basket to find a pair of panties, then go back to the bathroom and hand the panties to Becky. In exchange, you'll get an empty toilet roll. When you leave the bathroom, Lefty will tell you that the Barbarian Brew that you and Becky drank is getting whoever drinks it sick, and that there is a new shipment of toilet paper in the back room. Enter the back room ad open the box that wasn't there before by clicking on it, and take the toilet paper. If you combine the softener with the toilet paper, you'll make it much softer.
When you head back to the bar, Lefty will tell you that the toilet is now completely shot after everything Becky just put it through and that Becky doesn't want to see you again. If you want, you can click on the frayed wire of the jukebox, you can get a "death scene." Head back to the bathroom. The garbage can on the left will now be open, and the toilet will be filled to the brim with toilet paper. Click on the trash can and Larry will learn that Becky's used panties are there. Click on the red cord in the trash bag to close the bag, then click on the bag to put it in your inventory. You now have your soft toilet paper and used panties for Kyle and Finley.
Head back to Prune Headquarters. When you have the soft toilet paper for Kyle or the trash bag for Finley and you happen to have both items, you'll give the other item to the respective person automatically. As promised, Finley and Kyle will help Larry set up his Timber account. You can choose between a few nicknames at the start, as well as your Timber tagline, but the rest of the dialogue options will give you the same outcome regardless of which option you pick. Once you get done, you'll be able to access the Timber app on the PiPhone and check out your new matches on Timber. You'll also learn that you can press T to access Timber if you are playing on Build 26 or later. Pi, the AI on the PiPhone, will tell you when you have new matches as you progress through the game's story, so be sure to check them out. Click the X if you don't like them, and click the heart if you do.
