HCBailly plays Final Fantasy IV (Super Famicom) - Part 28 of 70

Wark! Kweh!

Also, we go to the Magnetic Cave.

If you go to Mysidia, you can enter the Crystal room and go beyond it to talk to the Elder and his aides in the Tower of Prayers. There's really no reason to go here, though.

At this point, Cecil should be at Level 24. It's time to head to the Dark Elf's cave. Head north from Toroia, and you should find a small patch of forest. You'll be able to find a Chocobo Village

Chocobo Village

There are two Gysahl Greens here, and there is a hidden path near the other, smaller path of grass that takes you to another set of Gysahl Greens. This path is not mentioned on the map.

Also, the area is in the shape of a Chocobo. CANNOT UNSEE!

From here, get a Black Chocobo (which may be easier said than done). You can now land near the cave in a tile consisting entirely of forest in the island northeast of Toroia.

Before you go into the cave, make sure your party does not having any metal armor or weapons equipped. That means everyone wears a Ruby Ring instead of a Silver Ring and Cecil uses a Great Bow with Holy Arrows. Interestingly, Yang's claws are not considered metal.

Magnetic Cave/Cave of Power

When you enter the cave, Cecil and company will feel the effects of the altered gravity as soon as they walk south out of the entrance. Yang will mentions that he still has use of his claws, and that Tellah can still use his magic.

The Ogres are your top priority, should you see them, as they are powerful and can cause misery to your party. If you can cast Mini on them, do it.
