HCBailly plays Final Fantasy IV (Super Famicom) - Part 30 of 70

Just when all is about to be lost, Edward wakes up, sensing that Cecil and the others are in trouble, and struggles to his harp. The resulting melody is heard through the Echoer, and the sound causes the gravitational field to disappear. You can now equip anything metal onto your party, which is now fully healed, so go ahead and equip the stuff you need. Be sure to keep the Ruby Rings on, however; they will protect you from Piggy, which the Dark Elf will try to inflict on you with the Whisper attack.

It should also be noted that the Dark Elf is weak to the Holy elemental, so use that whenever you can, especially with Cecil's Legendary sword. Whatever you do, use Tellah's Cure 2 and Cure 3 to ensure that your party stays alive.

Eventually, the Dark Elf will transform into the Dark Dragon. Wail on it with your strongest attacks. Use the Tornado on Dark Dragon, since it is very susceptible to it, when possible, and as always, keep your party alive with Cure 2 and Cure 3.

Afterwards, the Dark Elf will regret not obtaining immortality. You'll be able to get the Crystal of Earth and leave. Be sure to use the Emergency Exit you found near the entrance to the Crystal room, then use the Black Chocobo waiting outside to get back to Toroia.

Make sure you want to do everything you've wanted to do before heading to the Clerics with the Crystal of Earth.

When you return to the Clerics, they will celebrate the return of the Crystal of Earth only for Kain's presence to fill the room, telling Cecil to get on his airship so he can take him to Rosa.

Before you leave, see Edward again. Edward will explain that the song he played warded off evil fairies and spirits, and that he had the feeling it would work. Tellah then takes the time to ask Edward for forgiveness, as he now sees why Anna loved him. Edward starts to understand Anna's last words.

One of the Clerics will tell you to take the treasure in the basement. Go back to the left-hand staircase in the set of three staircases and talk to the guard there, and when she asks if you have permission from the Clerics, say yes. You'll be able to go through a door and enter a hidden path beyond which will take you to two Hi-Potions, two Remedys, two Ethers, two Dry Ethers, Elixir, two Echo Herbs, a Great Bow, two packs of Flame Arrows, Lightning Arrows  two packs of Ice Arrows, and a Silver Apple that increases the MP of the person who uses it by 50 points.
