You'll see a lot more swordsmen in this level, so be prepared to keep your distance. The gun isn't very helpful, since it takes forever to kill the swordsmen with it. It does work wonders on the Nazis, though, as it can keep them from even firing at you if you're aggressive enough.

The birds come back (though thankfully they're not at Ninja Gaiden levels of annoyance), but the Nazis are in full force. Be prepared to be ducking and whipping at the same time...a lot.
Not only are there mine carts that move around and dump rocks when they tip over at an exposed edge, there are also motorcycle Nazis in a few spots. For those guys, you're better off running at them from behind with the gun, assuming you can find it first...unless you're brave enough to hit them with the whip, in which case you'll be playing keep-away as they're pretty fast.
If you stay at the bottom of the level, you'll finish this level off in no time. If you look around, though, you'll find a lot of gold nuggets, which is pretty nice.
