We start The Last Crusade off with a bang in Venice, as we begin our search for the Holy Grail!
The Last Crusade
Indy is surrounded by men in black coats and hats who tell him somebody is looking for him. This leads to a chance meeting with philanthropist (and main villain) Walter Donovan. He sent a man to find the holy Grail who has since turned up missing...and it is soon revealed the man is Henry Jones, Sr. - Indy's dad! His last known location is the catacombs underneath Venice, Italy. (How Donovan knows this, I don't know - he's clueless about that in the movie.)
Donovan also mentions that Austrian archaeologist Dr. Elsa Schneider was with him, as well.
Catacombs of Venice
"Rats..." That's the first thing you hear when you start the third movie.
When you hear a whooshing sound, get in the water and duck, as a wall of fire will come at you from behind. Touching it means instant death, and we don't want that now, do we? Be careful not to accidentally fall into a pit...there's a few in this level.
More knife-throwers and rats here, but they're the same as in the previous movies. Sheesh, there isn't a whole lot of enemy diversity in this game...
Thankfully, this level is mercifully short.
You'll meet Elsa, and you'll find out that the Holy Grail is in Alexandretta. She'll tell you that Henry Sr. is being held in Castle Brunwald, near Salzburg, Austria.
