We explore the Well of Souls and deal with rats and snakes. How wonderful.
Also featuring special guest BlazeFury.
Well of Souls
The rock walls can be destroyed by attacking them. Also, the snake pits work like the spikes in Mega Man - touching them means instant death. Thankfully, there are ledges that pop in and out of the walls, above the snakes.
There are a lot of bats here, as well. You'll have to maneuver around in the drop-down points to avoid some of them.
At the bottom of the stage, you'll have to make some leaps of faith across five snake pits, four of them without the aid of these platforms. You'll have to leap off the edge in order to make it to the other side. After the last pit, you'll reach the end of the stage and the Ark of the Covenant.
You'll meet René Belloq again, and he takes the Ark of the Covenant before sealing you in the Well of Souls. Strangely, he tells you where the secret base is in the game, which he doesn't do at all in the movie. Stupid.

Well of Souls - Dark
It's a little harder to see this time around. What's really weird is that there are Nazis sealed in there with you. René Belloq is a jerk.
When you reach the top of the stage, be ready to roll after defeating the first Nazi...you'll have to dodge a spike trap.
