In this episode, we finally enter the Temple of Doom and rescue all the kids! Take that, third world child labor!
Temple of Doom 1
There's a hook at the beginning, in case you can't tell.
There are rivers of lava here that have rocks you can use to ride across. Plumes of lava will rise in and out, so be very careful and time both your jumps and your position on these rocks to avoid unnecessary damage.
Just like the Well of Souls, there are a lot of bats here. of course, the lava plumes will probably be more problematic than the bats, but still...
When you beat this level, you'll finally meet the main villain of Temple of Doom - Mola Ram. He wants all five Sankara Stones so that Kali Ma can rule the world.

Temple of Doom 2
In the movie, Indy is brainwashed by the cult of Mola Ram with a potion known as "Blood of Kali," and has to be broken out of it by Short Round. Here, the game takes liberties and starts after that, where you're rescuing the kids.
Just like in the Temple of Doom game for the arcades and NES, touching the kids will free them and give you points. (I am now instantly reminded of the NES's games instructions of "Touch kid to get prize" and its unintentional pedophilia references. Thanks a lot, game.) You won't get any weapons, but that's what the ankhs in this level are for anyway.
The Thuggee cultists here now throw spears. Even though they have about the same range as the knives, they're a tad bigger.
You saw these at the end of the last level, but there are falling rocks at certain points that respawn rather quickly. Use your roll to get past them.
The conveyor belts are rather slow, but you can climb onto them and jump down from them like regular platforms.
