PrinceWatercress plays MediEvil - Part 2 of 24

In this episode, we head to Cemetery Hill and meet Zarok for the first time in-game. Enjoy this while you can, because you won't see him often until the end of the game. Also, the game decides to channel its inner Donkey Kong with boulders moving down a hill.

0:43 - Our first in-game meeting with Zarok. The man himself spawns two rock-spitting gargoyles that spit rocks down Cemetery Hill.

2:09 - Chests with skulls and crossbones on them release magical blasts that destroy lesser enemies when hit.

2:44 - The Energy Vial here will replenish 225 points when collected. It can also be used to refill Life Bottles. Also, there is a merchant gargoyle here.

3:27 - The hill. Keep the Circle Button ready for when you need to jump, as there are stairways that act as shortcuts up the hill that allow you. The white rocks go straight down the hill, while the red ones can take detours. When you make it to the top of the hill, the gargoyles will self-destruct and you'll never have to deal with them again.

6:30 - We are introduced to a new weapon: the club. While this weapon has a usage limit in the form of a percentage value, it can also break boulders that are in your path. Be careful against the faster zombies here.

You can also use it to break the small rocks on the way up the hill for gold and Energy Vials. (Thanks LyingSecret)

7:44 - Thanks to the club, you can open up an old witch's lair.

9:30 - The club can break this bookcase to reveal an opening. By holding Circle with the club equipped, you can jab the club towards a torch and light it up. From here, you can take your makeshift torch...

11:01 - ...and go up the stairs to light this torch and open up all the cages. Take out all the zombies, and if you've been thorough in this level, the Chalice should be yours. Don't forget to pick up all the items here, including the Witch Talisman.

13:03 - Here, we can talk to Canny Tim again and get another Life Bottle.

16:23 - The discolored wall in Dan's Crypt can finally be destroyed with the club. Inside is another Life Bottle and 100 Gold.
