In this entry, we head back to Athletown to face our clones as well as...hedgehog cheerleaders?
All maps by zagato blackfist.
Horizon Gate
Talk to Rick. Here, you'll learn how to use the Fire Punch if you can beat Rick in battle. Equip your sword, stay away from the eight-way fireballs he shoots at you, then get close and never stop swinging the sword. You'll be able to learn the Fire Punch.
From there, head back to Athletown.
Athletown
Head to the Inn to recover your health if you need to, then go down the stairs in the lower-right corner of the town. You'll finally meet your clones, who look exactly like Jack and Ryu to the point that their angry expressions look like they're barely painted on.
When you fight them, use Hyper Vision, as the red clones will be invisible. The red clones throw their heads at you, while the blue ones will extend their necks upwards. The latter attack is nasty, since it means that you have to jump up to hit them. The heads of the red clones can also explode, and while the explosion can hurt you, it can also hurt their fellow clones.
After killing enough of them, you'll find out that Fire Punch is not strong enough and that you will need an electric weapon to jam their computers. Once again, you will have to go to Kingland and talk to Dr. Justice.
Kingland
Talk to Dr. Justice. You will get the Thunder Sword, which is the most powerful sword in the game and leaves a nice lightning trail when you swing it in battle. Head back to Athletown and fight your clones again. This time, you'll be able to kill the clones and go on to explore the swers of Athletown.
Athletown Sewers
You'll meet some new enemies: blue baseball birds, football players and hedgehog cheerleaders. Both the baseball and football players can punch and move back, and the blue bird men can crane their necks upwards much like the blue clones from earlier. The hedgehog cheerleaders pop up in groups of three, then one will show up and shoot an eight-way fireball shot.
The wolf and raccoon on the balloon boat drop bombs and fly around.
The robots on the dinosaur robots rush from one side of the screen to the other in an attempt to hit you with the drill on their heads. Hit them once or twice, move up or down, hit them again once or twice when they meet up with, repeat until they die.
There is a room at the beginning that cannot be accessed at all. There is a chest there if you can get there by rather dubious means, but there is nothing in it.
The clones also come back here as regular enemies.
The Starbomb is another magic spell. It lets you shoot shurikens that can stick to walls or enemies and explode.
When you make it to the end, you'll meet the Bad News Boss. After the baseball reference, you'll fight him in an RPG-style battle. Watch out for the Fire Knockout, which will paralyze your characters. The Spirit Blase simply damages both of them, but it is weaker than the Rocket Punch. When you win, you will get the Gold Auraball, the seventh and last Auraball. Now it's time to clear things up with Ory.
Once back in Athletown, Oly will apologize to you and lets you keep the Gold Auraball. He will tell you that the linear car to Grandopolis - which will not have been running until this point - will be up and running again, allowing you to go there.
Monorail Station
You'll enter this room on the way to Grandopolis. Going north takes you back to Computown on a one-way trip.
