We start the fourth and final stage here, and this is the biggest one of all. We also see the lives glitch in action!
Stage 4
You have to collect 73 pets in this level - iguanas, dogs, cats, frogs, birds - and they'll all be moving. Thankfully, you can hold nine pets at one time, but how they manage to not kill each other while in storage - how Kevin does it, we'll never know - is something I will never figure out.
There is one iguana near the start situated near the muscle man that will end up being the first enemy you see. This is most likely where the whole thing with the musclebound men stomping the ground to get a piece of the ceiling to fall on you will come into play.
Be sure to check the plants; you never know when you might something.
I like how this level and the last have things you can stand on that are related to said level. The third has those lamp stands with three lights each, while this level has scratching posts.
Be careful if you enter the second floor bathroom; there will be a muscleman to the right who will immediately go after you! Also, LCP has "F" lives after dying to him. And when he dies again, he has "E" lives, and then "D." Huh? Anyway, go to the left, jump over him on the tub, then go right and use the toilet to leap to the shelf and take him down with the paint can.
Watch out when you reach the attic, there are bats that will be flying around and ready to hit you. Be sure to watch the bats whenever you enter a new screen. At least you can see them against the attic background; otherwise this would be a real pain.
