PrinceWatercress plays Sonic Chaos (Game Gear) - Part 3 of 6

We complete all the bonus areas, but the real question is: what the heck is a sleeping egg?

Sleeping Egg Zone

Sleeping Egg Zone is a world of ridable springs that you can jump off of to reach higher areas, breakable blocks, platforms, spikes that shoot in and out of the ground and Robotnik statues. Unfortunately, there is no way to tell what a Sleeping Egg is.

Enemies here are purple robots on springs as well as yellow horned enemies that jump up and down.

In the fifth and final bonus area, go left and jump on the clock monitor to give yourself some extra time, then go right, enter the pipe and hold Down on the Control Pad the entire time. Keep tapping 1 or 2 while doing this so that you don't run into the spring and get pushed back into the pipe.  You'll get the Purple Chaos Emerald. You're done with the bonus areas!

From here on out, you'll need to make your way to the right as quickly as possible, as with any Sonic game. When you reach the sign at the end, run into it to end the stage. The higher your kilometers per hour, the more points you will get for your time bonus. You can also get some things to show up on the sign. If you see a ring, you'll get ten extra rings. If Sonic shows up on the sign, you can get an extra life.

The boss here is a bouncing egg robot. The weak spot is the head, and you'll have to jump on it when the robot is low enough to avoid being shot. If you can wait near him and get on top of his before he lands on the ground at the start of the battle, you can stay on top of the boss for the whole battle and not worry about getting hit.
