Gigapolis Zone has one of the more interesting musical tracks in the game, though the version you get depends on whether you're playing this on Game Gear or the Master System.
Gigapolis Zone
There are a lot of rings that you can pick up here. The monitors with the rings give you ten rings each when you leap onto them to break them.
Enemies here include red flying enemies that shoot at you, blue stag beetle tanks that slowly move forward,
The slanted floors can be crossed as long as you go fast and don't stop; otherwise, you will fall down and off the platform.
The third bonus stage takes place in a cave. Hold Up as soon as you enter the pipe. On the fifth pipe, you'll have a completely different route that will throw you off, and holding Up takes you straight to the Green Chaos Emerald.
The fourth bonus stage has you using rocket shoes to get to the end. When you use the rocket shoes, be sure to hold Left so you can get a head start on the next rocket shoes monitor. Jump on top of the springs at the "staircase" full of springs that will knock you back if you run into them. When you reach the fall-away bridge, go left for the last set of rocket shoes. You'll barely have enough time to do this before you get kicked out, but it can be done.
The boss here is a giant worm. Avoid the segments when the boss kicks them at you, and jump on the boss' head when you can. Four hits will do it in.
