Route 2 is a little different, as while Route 1 had some simpler level layouts while retaining a sense of challenge, Route 2 is more of an obstacle course where there is less room for error.
Stage 1, Route 2
Unlike Route 1, which brings you a variety of enemies and doesn't have much in the way of obstacles, Route 2 is more like an obstacle course where enemies don't show up as often.
First of all, there are pits everywhere! Even at the very start of the very first stage, the road has pits that cover a vast distance! And you'll still have to destroy the Oswald Cobblepot for Mayor truck at the end of the first section.
Thankfully, there are plenty of power-ups in the second section.
The enemies here are mostly the same, though you will see a guy with a flamethrower at the very start.
The boss here is the same fire-breathing guy as on Route 1. Same strategies apply. Keep your distance, and when he is drinking from his flask, hit him with a Batarang. The fire-breathing clown has three attacks: a close-range fire breath, a fireball that curves upwards after he spits it out, and a fire wave that travels the ground which you will have to jump over. After enough hits, he is done.
