In this entry, we find out what that Security officer was guarding. None of it seems any good.
Now that you're able to enter Chairman Lamb's apartment, head over to the apartments and use your card on the slot for the door on the right. You can now enter Lamb's apartment. If you explore the area, you'll find out that his chair is covered in grease and cat fur and that all of his so-called books are made out of cardboard.
Speaking of the books, there is a video cassette on the bookshelf entitled "Pussies on Parade." You can actually take this video cassette with you, so do it. Also, to feed the cat, all you have to do is right-click on the food machine and the food will come out. Cous-Cous the Cat will leap off the bed and eat the food. You can also play the video cassette on the VCR in the apartment. Thankfully, you'll get the video cassette back.
Head back to Mrs. Piermont's apartment. Again, to access it, use the button on the call system near the elevator, and you'll be able to enter again. Use the video cassette on the VCR to distract Spunky, then go to the dog food bowl, right click on the dog biscuits to pick them up and leave.
Head back to the ground floor elevator and place the dog biscuits on the wooden plank near the bricks. Once you do this, Mrs. Piermont will leave her apartment and take Spunky for a walk again. You'll want to stand near the rope at the bricks (left-click the bricks to ensure that you do this), then wait. Mrs. Piermont and Spunky will eventually show up. Spunky will notice the dog biscuits and bark at them while Mrs. Piermont talks to the nearby guard. Right-click on the rope. Pull the rope, and Spunky will get on the plank only for Robert to let go, launching Spunky into the air and into the pool. This will distract the Security officer (whose name is Officer Blunt) and Mrs. Piermont, and while you can talk to them, it's useless to do so. Because of this, the Security officer will stop blocking the entrance to the cathedral, which you can now enter.
When you enter, you'll see an army of men in what looks like business suits standing to the east; however, they are perfectly still. These men are androids, and you've met one of them already on the screen just east of where you entered Burke's Bio Surgery.
There are two doors here. The door on the right is a ventilation shaft and a dead end. Amazingly, you cannot get a death screen here. The door to the left leads to some lockers. There are five big lockers on the wall to the north, and while four of them contain bodies that look like the androids we just found, the one in the center contains Anita. Robert will note that Anita is dead, with her body burnt from radiation exposure. This is your cue to head to the reactor at the factory if you want to continue with the plot. When you leave the cathedral, Mrs. Piermont, Spunky and Officer Blunt will be gone.
Believe it or not, you can talk to the St. James Club doorman about Anita's body after you discover it, but he will not be of much help.
