After beating Skull Man, we get a pretty short stage where one mistake can mean a long way down.
Elevator
Go up to the switch, activate it, and be ready to shoot down automatically firing guns while avoiding the plasma bolts of an alien off in the distance. Just get up close to it, throw a grenade, then fire at it with a machine gun clip. Along the way, you'll want to hit switches so you can activate other moving platforms and get around in this level as you make your way up to the exit.
To get the green shard, you'll have to walk off an edge to the right and land in the water near the door where the shard is at, then immediately jump to the right. Get the shard, hit the switch, use the nearby platform, then cross the platforms that fall when you jump onto them to the other side. Inserting the green shard will give you a shortcut to the end of the stage that doesn't have any enemies in the way and has a ton of power-ups.
