It's now time for the final battle with Jafar!
Stage 7
Area 1
One of the red jewels is behind a column and is very easy to miss, by the way. Afterwards, you'll have a couple of platforms to deal with, but you can grab onto them.
Almost all of the red jewels will require jumping off the swords from the sword throwers.
The platforms with the spiked undersides are (thankfully) not insta-kill.
Area 2
You'll need Iago with the skull to get the first red jewel. Iago will fly towards you, then drop a skull, which will bounce in your general direction. The skulls break if left on-screen long enough, even though you can destroy them yourself.
For the next two, you'll need the swords from the sword thrower.
The lanterns will break and send a small trail of fire forward in two directions if you either swing off them or hit them with an apple.
The chest here contains a scarab; take care of the nearby sword thrower before using the chest as a means of getting the scarab.
Area 3
The fire pits contain fire that slowly travels up and down. Be sure to pay attention when the fire is all the way down so you don't miss a few of the red jewels that are here. Thankfully, the fire is not insta-kill.
The rings change the direction of the circles with the two tracks on them. By doing so, you can change the track a little bit, but the circles will move back to their original position.
You must make a running jump followed by using the parachute to get the last red jewel in the game...and you only have one shot.
You'll then face Jafar. When he throws his staff onto the ground, jump on it as you jump over the lightning that travels to the sides, then jump on Jafar's head when he dives down. When he shoots lightning downward, watch the sky to see where the lightning bolts drop. You'll soon realize that it will always be right, then left, then the center.
You can use the pot bird enemies that he creates to jump up to Jafar and get a hit in on Jafar's head, but it's not the easiest thing in the world to do. Get rid of them with apples so you can get a much better shot on Jafar off his staff.
After enough hits, you'll beat Jafar...almost. Head to the right to complete the stage.
Final Battle
The chest at the beginning contains chicken. Take it. Go right.
Jafar will use the power of the lamp to turn himself into a giant, evil cobra. His body will be the floor above a fire pit, so be ready to jump over the fire when you have to. The parachute
Jafar will spit out two eggs. You can vault off them to jump onto his head, or you can wait for him to bite at you. As long as you stay to the far left, the bite attack won't hit you.
After enough hits, Jafar will go down before going for one last strike. From here, you'll get the final cutscene where Jafar wishes to become more powerful than the genie only to become a genie who is trapped in a lamp due to his own greed. Aladdin allows The Genie to be free, and Jasmine is allowed to marry Aladdin after The Sultan allows her to marry whoever she chooses. From here, everything is right as rain while we pretend The Return of Jafar doesn't exist.
If you got all 70 Red Jewels, you'll get a slightly better looking ending with a shot of the royal palace at the end; otherwise, you just get Aladdin and Jasmine on the magic carpet in the night sky.
