PrinceWatercress plays Aladdin (Super Nintendo) - Part 4 of 7

Now for something completely different. Here, our platforming skills in this game are put to the test in the Genie's wonderland inside of the lamp.

Stage 4

Area 1

Here, your platforming skills are put to the test. Hope you've still got that parachute!

The genie heads move up and down and look at you as you travel on them. They also sigh if you fall into a pit or die, which is a nice detail!

The Genie will eventually show up and create clouds, rings and playing cards. The clouds are platforms, the rings are swung off and the playing cards are vaulted off of. Also, you can see Abu on the carpet in the background in that section, but you'll probably be too busy moving forward to notice.

You can also swing off the arches.

Area 2

The balloons that constantly fly upwards are things you can swing off, but if you leap onto the tops of them, they will pop before re-spawning.

The wooden columns have poles you can swing across. Watch out for ceiling spikes.

The platforms with the green jewels on them are pretty safe, thought you can vault off the jewels.

Stand on the chest to get the scarab as soon as it comes out.

The tornadoes will hurt you if you touch them.

Area 3

Watch the tongues on the Genie walls and use them to make your way up at the start of this section. Eventually, you'll reach the top and you'll head to the right. Thankfully, the tongues never go fully into the mouths. You'll also have purple jewels to vault off and rods to swing off of.

The springs just launch you upwards.

The Genie Blocks fall once you put your weight on them.

Once you beat this level, you'll be out of the lamp, but you'll be in a pyramid for some reason. This part was not in the movie.
