Dr. Doppler Stage 3 (continued)
After you beat the Maverick rush, you fight Dr. Doppler. Not surprisingly, he reveals that he's working with Sigma to create a Utopia for Mavericks...and wants X to join him. Naturally, X refuses.
Whenever Dr. Doppler creates a green force field, do not attack him. If you attack him while this force field is up, he absorbs the damage and actually heals himself.
Dr. Doppler will throw three fireballs at your current position. Avoid these and return fire.
When gold rings form around him and form a gold bubble, Doppler will float upwards and then charge to the other side of the screen when you're lined up with him.
Dr. Doppler is weak to the Acid Burst. Hit him with it before he can try to heal himself with the green force field, and you should be good.
When you beat Dr. Doppler, you'll free him from Sigma's control. You'll find out that Sigma's true form is a computer virus, and confirms that he made the Battle Body for Sigma during that time. The Battle Body will be in the underground hangar of the lab.
Dr. Doppler Stage 4
The blue spider robots fire missiles at you.
If you have the Z-Sabre, you can beat both of Sigma's forms in two shots of the Z-Sabre beam.
If Zero is dead, Doppler will hit Sigma with the anti-Sigma virus instead and try to take a weakened Sigma with him. Also, X will stand on the cliff alone in the ending.
And that's it! That's all there is in Mega Man X3!
