NintendoCapriSun plays Mega Man 7 - Part 2 of 17

We didn't seem to get anywhere last video. I don't think this one will be any different either.

Freeze Man (continued)

Freeze Man has a couple of attacks. The most obvious one is that he can freeze the floor. When the ice covers the floor, you'll want to jump so that the ice doesn't keep you stuck to the floor.

Besides the running and jumping Freeze Man can do, he can also shoot Freeze Crackers at you to freeze you in place and also toss Freeze Crackers into the ceiling to create icicles that fall to the floor all across the room.

Beating Freeze Man will give you the Freeze Cracker.

Cloud Man

The quartet of purple birds will fly towards you when they see you. Firing a charged shot will take them all out at once if they're in a straight line.

You'll also see cylinder-shaped robots with spikes on their heads. They'll shoot up then gently fall back down. If they're above you, they will shoot thunder downwards.

The small sphere robots with the cone on it changes the weather. When it changes positions, the weather changes from clear to rainy. If you hit them with the Freeze Cracker, this will change the rain to snow.

The large ball-shaped robots with three cannons will shoot three shots at you. They can easily be taken out with a charged shot.

The flying green robots are virtually easy to defeat.

At one point in the middle of the stage, you'll have to deal with invisible platforms where you won't see much of them apart from near where you're standing. Watch your step as you shoot down the enemies. If the platform ends in front of you, be prepared to jump forward and hopefully land on something (which you more than likely will). If you've made it snow, you'll be able to see the invisible platforms.

The egg-dropping birds from the second game are back. Now that you have a charged shot, you can take out all the tiny birds in the now much-bigger egg all at one time. There is one spot at the end of the stage where you can move back and forth to fill up on health and weapon energy.

The green flying robots just fly to the left.

The red robots on tank treads move back and forth. They will have their heads detach if you destroy the body.

If you use Rush Coil to reach the high ladder near the end, you'll meet Proto Man. He'll tell you that you can use your weapon to discover hidden things. He then tells you to use the flame weapon in the woods. (This will come in handy later.)

The robots with the big fans on their chest are a throwback to the second game. Not only can they suck you in with those fans like last time, they can also blow you away and alternate between both courses of action.

To beat Cloud Man, jump over his thunderbolt attacks and the ground-travelling thunder balls it creates. If he's in the air and he flashes, you'll know he's about to shoot a thunderbolt then. Slide away from him as he make it rain, as he will be be sucking you towards him as he tries to conduct electricity. The rest of the time, the wind of the rainy weather will be pushing you away. While it's raining, jump over the electric balls Cloud Man creates that travel across the ground. When it becomes clear again, slide under him as he moves around. Fire charged shots at him, especially while its raining and he's trying to suck you towards him, since he'll be staying in one spot then.

Burst Man

There are a lot of spike pits here, as well as bomb platforms that you'll have to stand on in order to clear them out of your path. Shadow Man and Blizzard Man stages, anyone?

There are fish in the water, as well as Mettaurs in snorkels and swim fins. The clear-colored sphere robots are mines, and if you're near them when you destroy them, the resulting explosion will damage you.

You'll meet a crab mini-boss. Avoid the fire balls and shoot down the bubbles. Jump over the crab when it rocket towards you, then jump over it again as it heads back to the right side. When you defeat the boss, the spike ceiling will be destroyed and you'll be carried upwards by the water. Watch for the ceiling spikes and the mines. To make it past the spike pit, jump when the water is at is highest point as Mega Man will float on the surface. Climb the ladder, and you'll be dealing with the disappearing platform blocks again. At least these are simple.
