Talk to Hilda. She'll give you a new keyword that you need to Learn: Jade. According to Hilda, the undead Emperor is in Pandemonium, and the only way to get there is through the Jade Portal. The sages of Mysidia know more about this.

Ask Lydia about it, and she'll tell you that the Sea of Jade lies around the thin strait east of Mysidia. Gordon will tell you it's near Kashuon if you ask him.

According to one person, Pandemonium is a phantom castle, and you can't access it directly. That's what the Jade Portal is for.

Castle Dist

Map

Head back to Castle Dist, talk to Richard's wife, and ask about the Dragoons. She'll give you the Dragoon Clan's sword: the Xcalibr (Excalibur).

Near the mountain range on the coast southwest of Kashuon, there is a blue circle. This is the Jade Portal.

The Diamond Cane is the most powerful cane in the game.

The Great Molbors (G.Molbor) are more like the Molbors we know and love, as they can inflict nasty status ailments with their physical attacks.

Hellfire casts Fire 16 on all enemies during battle.

The chest with the Cat Claw knife contains a Blue Dragon. Thankfully, this thing can be Toaded or Minied like the other Dragons.

Also, Leon looks like a blue Fighter. Just saying.
