HCBailly plays Final Fantasy II - Part 41 of 44

In this entry, we finally enter the last area of the game.

You take damage from the un-animated waterfall. Why? I don't know. But you do.

The Rune Axe is the most powerful axe in the game, but to walk away with it, you'll have to take on a Behemoth. Amazingly, this Behemoth is pretty easy.

There is a shopkeeper hidden behind the waterfall. If you've got the Gil, this guy will sell you some of the best spells in the game. You'd have to spend some good free time powering them up before you can really make use of them, though.

After the hidden shopkeeper, there are three doors. The third door is the one you want to go through.

The Aegis Shield, Dragon Armor and Holy Spear are really good. The Holy Spear is the best spear in the game.

The Yoichi Bow is guarded by a Red Dragon (R.Dragon). Thankfully, he's not that much more difficult than the other dragons you've seen.

When you reach a narrow, sandy path, you're almost there...but then you'll reach a dead end. You'll have to stand on the left tile of the center of the room to be transported into a castle. Welcome to Pandemonium.
