HCBailly plays Final Fantasy II - Part 38 of 44

Now that we've got the Airship, we can finally land in Paramekia castle and deal with Leon!

All maps by Paco, except for the overworld map by Rick Bruns.

Head back to Poth, but don't enter town. The Airship will be parked right outside. Commandeer it and head to Paramekia. It'll be the castle that's in the mountain, and it'll be northeast of the Arena. Park on the top of the tower on the right side of the castle and you'll automatically enter.

Paramekia

Enter the door to the north. Keep going north and you'll fall to the first floor. There. Now you're unstuck. You're welcome.

There are two types of Diamond Armor in the game: the Diamond Armor and the Diamond Plate. The one here is the Diamond Plate, and this is much lighter than the other one. It's got the same defense value, but you don't have the resistance against Lightning-based attacks here like you do the Diamond Armor.

The Steel Golems (StGolem) are resistant to a lot of spells, so you'll have to beef up your party's offense for the fight if you see one. They can also cast Stop 8 on the entire party in an attempt to silence you, which can be pretty bad if your magic defense isn't very high.
If you've got Flare or Holy high enough, fire away with those. Also, use the Blood Sword, as its status ailments can actually take effect on them.

The Shades are undead enemies, so use Life on them before they can do any real damage. Their physical offense is really high, and they can Curse you with their physical attacks.

The Skulls are just run-of-the-mill undead enemies. There's nothing really special about them.
