HCBailly plays Final Fantasy II - Part 34 of 44

We cover two more elements as we make the rough climb to the Ultima spell, and they aren't any prettier or easier than the Fire Floors! Okay, maybe prettier.

All maps by Paco.

Mysidia Tower

It's now time for the Ice floors, complete with Ice items in the chests. Vampire Girls (VmpGirl) can easily be killed with a powerful Life spell, and Devil Flowers (DvFlowr) can both Poison and Confuse you if you don't set them ablaze fast enough.

Be careful around the ice water, as it does damage you when you walk in it. Thankfully

The Ice Gigas (I.Gigas) can be tackled the same way as the Fire Gigas. Ditto with the Thunder Gigas (T.Gigas). Heh, Secret of Mana wasn't the only Square game to do a Fire, Ice and Thunder Gigas all in the same game...

The Evil Cane casts Aero 16, but on a random person. It can be a party member or an enemy. Don't even bother using it as an item; instead, use it as a weapon in battle if you have somebody who's good with a Cane, as it's more powerful than the Power Cane.
