Part 8 is gone for some strange reason, so here's another video by Patrick So/Warblefly41 in its place. From what I can recall, there was a boss battle montage with "Lotus Flower" by Scott Matthew playing in the background.
As a result, this blog will only cover the first four minutes of the video, with everything else being spoilers for the next video.
Main things to know:
As you progress through the level, the walls, floors and ceilings will fade in and out of existence and all the enemies will pop out of a portal that moves around the screen.
You have to fly into the portal that the enemies come out of to get past the wall.
The bug enemies are all drawn to the Force Device.
For the boss, destroy the four green globes while dealing with all the bugs. This could get nasty.
Once you beat this boss, the portal will swallow you up in typical Mode 7 fashion. Final stage mode, engage!
